You have to love it. The AFL bring in Hawk-eye, but don't show it on the telecast, meaning viewers cannot actually see an angle that tells us anything. Just further allowing the AFL to run every part of the show free from criticism and fault.

I think they are actually just trialling it at the moment so are not actually using it as part of the decision making process at this stage.
