Mate have you ever actually watched him play? He's an absolute gun.
He’s also 20 with 29 games experience, you could call him a younger version of a hawks ruckman... Likely to win B&F in second year emulating Clayton Oliver. Speed, agility, poise, good disposal and pretty tough. Imagine what he will be like in 3-4 years time developing and learning from Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Mitchell and co. He’s a jet we’d love someone on our list like him.

Let’s be honest - Nick Daicos is a gun.

He just somehow finds the pill each and every game.

And he’s so smooth with his disposal - always places it perfectly to his teammate’s advantage, whether it be a kick or handball.

His transition from the NAB League to AFL has been seamless.

Daicos is a gun AND a stat padder. And that's fine as long as people are aware of it.

His game last night was very, very good even accounting for the cheap touches.

What's the distinction between stat padding and simply being used as much as possible to distribute the ball? The whole side looks for him as he's their best kick (alongside Pendles), but he's so clever with where he runs to, he is always available.

We joke but kozzi should model his game on mioceck, from work rate to how he runs the ground and hits packs, it’s everything we would want kozzi to be
Mihocek lacks in physical attributes compared to Kosi, but is very smart, has good craft & good hands.

He's like the anti-Kosi.

"Stat padding" is probably too loaded a term and makes it sound like he's just out there to pump up his numbers.

What he does is try to hit that high impact kick that cuts through the opposition and sets the Pies up to score. This is what gets shown on highlights reels and makes everyone wet themselves when he does it. This is the genuinely great part of his game.

However because the Pies are trying to generate so much attack through him he can often be in a position where he's not going to be able to safely do that high impact play. Sometimes he'll pass on that kick or it won't even be there so he'll do those one-two handballs and short sideways kicks across half back to try again from another spot. Assuming he eventually hits that high impact kick from another position he's still only made the one high impact play, he's just had to utilise a few low impact touches to set it up.

And that's not meant as a criticism. Just context behind the stats.

That’s the right take why are people saying model himself on mihocek? He’s the opposite of mihocek. What we want is mihocek. “Hey Kosi, you know how you are nothing like Mihocek, can you be Mihocek please and quickly.”

He's the opposite of a lot better players than Mihocek - may as well model his game on that of Franklin or Dunstall.
