The AFL did us a favour.

Port are not a high drawing club, particularly away. Much rather our MCG games to be against other big Vic clubs.
Would have worked early in the season. You would get around 45k to it, by round 19 the angst from last year is forgotten and it would be 10-15k less. Only way we would get close to 45k late in the season is if we are absolutely flying with the bandwagon in full swing

Media trying to make it a thing. Watson asked the question, answers truthfully

Yeah what is a player expected to say here. When asked if you want revenge on a team that knocked us out in a tight final I would prefer a player to say 'yes' than some bland non-answer like 'we just want to take it one game at a time'. Of course we want to beat them - I hope every player wants to.

Nobody was questioning Geelong's revenge mantra when the Kennett Curse was a thing - the media loved it.

Not sure where I saw it but the boys were talking about their music tastes, what they would be embarrassed about etc.
My ears pricked up when Sammy mentioned he was in the top .0001% of Spotify listeners of The War on Drugs.
I reckon I’m also in that .0001%.
These guys are superb. Check it out.

Yeah, there's a Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever to them.

Every time Watson says something, they're going to be on him.

Feels like this...

Finn is looking ripped as heck and preseason has only just begun. Hopefully he keeps working on his kicking and like last season doesn't bite off more than he can chew. He's tracking along nicely and even though he's just outside what I feel is our best team he's a very important part of the squad which is ever so important to contend.

His decision making and disposal has come on in leaps and bounds. Just needs to improve his reflexes and speed at which he can assess the right options.

07 elimination final on Fox right now. What a magic day - strange to see so many empty seats up on the 3rd level.

Didn’t feel like it on the day did it? It’s gotten a run multiple times the last few weeks. Unfortunately 12 GF, 12 loss to Geelong after the siren has been on more than once also.

Would be in my top 3 favourite games of all time.

I had to sit down after Franklin kicked the winner. Was that lightheaded from cheering. What a day. Never watched 12 again - should have sealed that game in the first quarter. Bah. That the Hawkins goal game? If so, I was half way out the aisle when it came off his boot - it wasn’t missing.

Agreed. I’m really excited to see Finn’s growth as a player continuing.
He reminds me a lot of Josh Kennedy as a young player, slightly lumbering, a little awkward with the disposal, but you could see there is/was a lot to work with.
I’m still bitter about losing Josh incidentally… shakes head and walks away

I hope Josh will be back to cut the ribbon at the new facility named after his Grandfather.
