Seems part of the fabric doesn't he.
His kids are all mad lions and he is pretty close with Fagan and others at the club so it’s inevitable he’d still fell very connected there. But in his heart he’s still a Hawk, that you can tell.

Didn't someone mention recently that Cooper would rather play for Hawthorn than Brisbane if he's good enough?

It annoys me that there are a few teams sitting around 8th that I dislike. One part of me wants them to win to make life difficult for cats, but my dislike for them also has me enjoying watching them get smashed

choices are hard.

Bleh.. this is a great example of the media creating news.

If Mitchell mentions him in the HOF speech, its a headline. If he doesn't mention him, it's a headline. If Clarko comes back and Hawks play North, its a huge deal he's back for that game. If comes back after the teams play, its a huge deal he didn't come back for that game. Either way they are going to talk it up.

Them being mis envious around Clarko is nothing new.

Was it all four grand final weeks there were ‘rumours’ Clarko would be going to another team to coach. Worse than cockroaches the media

And as someone said, Sam made a point of not discussing Clarko cos Clarko (via north) had actually asked for privacy

Brisbane have been building nicely since 2018, it's time for them to actually do something. They are still two games off a top two finish, and you wouldn't put a penny on them against a top 4 team at the MCG. Absolute pretenders in my eyes.
They are the most talented team in it. Only a matter of time before it comes together in September especially with the additions of Dunkley, Ashcroft, McKenna, Fletcher and Wilmott. Gunston might not get back in!

They too have issues though. I don't like Danniher and Hipwood in the same forward line. They need someone who can physically impose themselves.

Every team has issues.

And the bye strikes again with Richmond - the bye needs to be all teams one week next year. The four weeks have been a joke.

They look a lot quicker without Rich and Gunston. I think they have by far the most complete team without an obvious weakness other than what’s between the ears.

Ashcroft, Fletcher and Wilmot will shine if Neale, Andrews and Daniher turn up. I don't doubt that they can do it for one game, but away from home for 3 games in a row? I give them next to no chance. I would actually like it if they did, but I don't see it happening.

Did anyone notice Balta trying to draw a free kick when he was getting sling tackled by trying to smash his face into the ground?

Thought it was interesting given Sicily got 3 weeks.

Also, Mcluggage played his best game of the season tonight. I guess the concussion had no effect.

Imagine if we can draft or bring in some gun forwards to our be team like the Lions. We will be contending very soon.

Was listening to the start of the Box Hill v GC match and the two commentators struggled with the names of players (for both sides!). Bruce would have known every player and probably have some story about each of them ready to go.

I'm a big athletics fan as well and Bruce's preparation and knowledge for those events was also top class.

BHH commentary has dropped a level this year. Think they’ve had some changes in personnel. That said, still great to be able to tune in on occasion.
