It's closer for the Cats. Without the usual suspects, they would be nowhere near.
Would have loved another crack at the Cats this season there midfield is v ordinary and ours is on the march .....will just have to wait for Easter Monday

Gerard Whately has just burnt a copy of Joel Selwoods new book and has placed its Ashes in his WWE lunchbox.
He is going to present this to Chris Scott as motivation for them next year .

I have to laugh at all the mitchell comments. Leads the pies for contested possessions (16), clearances (5), second in tackles (7) to go with his 7 score involvements, 2 goal assists. Was great inside the contest tonight and helped turn the midfield battle around after quarter time.

Dangerfield and Cameron were their best by miles. Touhy and Duncan not far behind. That's the problem for them. The usual gang doing their bit. Without Cameron for the next few years they would be in deeper strife. He will keep them relevant.

A few times during the week he was the same too . Mentioned the mental aspect of ladder positions post game , pretty much said cos of that they were off.

On SEN he said they didn't try/work hard enough and it would be an easy fix effort wise because they were playing Geelong this week.

Probably not intentionally but was very poor form .

Hawthorn generally beat Collingwood though. Just a couple of exceptions

Do your really think he's better than Newcombe, Day or Worpel? He can't play Nash or Finn's role. Would you be happy if he played on the outside as a ball user?

We needed to move on from Titch but he has been a good fit for the Pies. Although he has gone off the boil in recent weeks I thought he played well on the inside tonight.

Geelongs best players again all there older guys . The few younger guys have regressed or are pretty vanilla .
Not a good sign for them
