I might be in the minority but whilst acknowledging there is no good time to do a knee I think this time of year is probably the best one. Write off a season you haven’t started and prepare for the one after with a solid rehab plan with plenty of time allowances for unforeseen set backs. Hopefully there are no setbacks and you can move form rehab to improvement in areas that need it and come back a better athlete than before.
It's not a good time for Bailey who's coming out of contract or the WB who would've been wanting to showcase him to interested parties. If he was to get back to his form from a couple of years ago then they could've just set back and let the bids roll in but instead he'll be wrapped up in cotton wool coming off of a poor 2023 season.

Nah, most people aren’t that callous and s**t in the real world.

That's because they'll tell you one thing but think another. Yes they are, most people are like this. Apart from immediate family, friends or their favourite celebrities, they care little about about anyone else unless it helps their interests. True philanthropy or empathy is rare.

Clayton Oliver can’t buy a trick. Driving on a suspended licence.

When your job is done you may demand anything.

He’s basically taking very well earned long service leave from the AFL in general.

Excellent way to recharge at the age of 55. Very good move by the Pies. They’re ticking over so well.

He’s lucky he can play footy because he’s got nothing going on upstairs.

Been given the golden ticket but is doing his best to flush it away.

Wasn't a suspended license.
He was instructed by doctors bot to drive on medical grounds. It's a self report, and if he wasn't a footballer the cops would've been none-the-wiser when they saw him behind the wheel
just because it's medical grounds doesn't mean it isn't a suspended license. that's what it has been reported as thus far anyway

That doesn’t make it any better it only takes one attack while he is behind the wheel for him to have killed someone.

Just because he got lucky doesn’t make it any worse an act.

It is a suspended license, he was deemed medically unfit to drive.

Well he can - he can catch an Uber and buy all sorts of tricks

The problem is.. he’s an idiot

It's not like Uber doesn't exist or he couldn't call someone at the club for a lift, likely no questions asked either.

Yes it is a suspended licence. Many ways in which a licence can be suspended, not just via a court. Medical review suspensions are common especially with older folk. And his car would have flagged as a suspended driver on the automated name plate recognition system so I'm guessing his car flagged rather than what you're suggesting.

We all agree he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sounds like he needs a full time minder otherwise he will find some way to do something stupid.

Yes, if one of those hospital visits was a seizure, then yes, he would have a suspended licenece for 6 months.
