I actually think over the last couple of seasons their supporters have a case. They have certainly not enjoyed much favouritism recently, except for the obvious ignoring high dusty fend offs and Lynch getting a free ride.

But when a Bulldogs player complains, it's delusional.

They certainly give away a lot of free kicks which makes their free kick differential look bad.

They play a very dirty style of footy though and could easily have double the free kicks paid against them. They get a fairly easy run, especially as they get a lot of very soft free kicks.

Sheezel is a gun player but he’s being 100% wasted in the back half. Gets lots of ball but isn’t the type of player who cuts defences open with his ball use despite being a good user of the ball.

Should be in the forward half where he would get less of the ball but would be helping is team more by hitting targets inside 50 and using his creativity.

The top 7-8 in last years draft look like jets , so its no suprise they would look good .
Wiz plays by far the hardest role/position so I think we need to be mindful not to fall ( not saying anyone is ) into a trap of comparing his output against others.

It's North's forward half. It'd be robbing Peter to pay Paul, the reason North get ANY forward line possessions is because their guns are in the back line. Put them in the forward line and they'd get no possessions.

They won centre clearances and total clearances so they were able to get the ball forward.

He’d definitely get a lot less ball playing forward but him getting at least 15-20 disposals all in the forward half will lead to North kicking goals. Rather than him getting 30+ but having next to no effect on North scoring.

Now Gold Coast have a competent and successful coach I think we're seeing how much of an overcorrection those draft concessions were. Anderson and Rowell in one draft can change the trajectory of a club - now they've got a frighteningly talented line up and they're balanced to boot.

Jeremias had a fair wack at the Crows reliance on Tex a while ago and the Crows nuffies really bit down hard. He's reminded them tonight.
