The game seems to be frantic this year, or is that just me? Seems like there are more games that are just two teams bashing into each other and making very quick decisions to a player just outside the pack or getting quick kicks out. Kind of like organised chaos but not like Richmond were, better than that. Maybe I’m just picking out a small sample and running with it.

Was BOG. Had 27.
Nah he wasn’t BOG. There were a few moments during the game where he didn’t go as hard as he should have but then cancelled this out with two big moments in the last quarter.

Only 3 journos bothered turning up to the post game presser last night LOL
From a personal experience, the numbers at a post match press conference hover between 3 and 6. Essendon round 1 there were 6 in the post match, Geelong round 3 there were 4 and last week against North there was 3. A lot of the media work is now being outsourced and articles written by freelance journalists who are not actually in attendance.

This GCS side Vs Port Melb is absurd!

Premiership players, B & F winners, plus blokes like Moyle & Uwland etc etc.

Absolutely bonkers the amount of AFL players in this side.

I know you all know this, but watching it live, it really hits home just how many chances GCS have had, and how flimsy their excuses for lack of success are.

Moyle should be playing AFL surely?

Great watch - now a 20 player all in brawl!

CGS being soft at VFL AND AFL levels ;)

Caleb Graham hasn't put a foot wrong either - I'd hope we are looking at him?

Same as my father. He served in the Middle East. He unfortunately sustained a serious injury when he hit a child playing soccer while he was riding on a motorcycle (he was a dispatch rider). He then served under General Thomas Blamey as a cook in Port Moresby. His brother was only 16 (lied about his age; used my father's name as his own) when he went to serve. He later fought against the Nazis in Greece and fortunately survived after hiding out with a family there. He was honourably discharged, though, because they claimed he went AWOL. My father's 3 half brothers also all served. I don't want to be political. But those people we saw protesting in the city today, though, whether you agree with their cause or not, are a disgrace for protesting on this day, when I bet many of their own ancestors fought for this country. At least we still saw hundreds of thousands of people around the state celebrate it proudly, and Collingwood and Essendon played a classic full of hard-fought football that I'm sure many of the ANZACs would be proud of.
Fortunately as a western democracy, we all have the right to conduct a non-violent protest at any time and on any day of the year.

I am very grateful to those who fought in military combat on our behalf for ensuring that (unlike many countries elsewhere) we as citizens of Australia all enjoy the right to conduct a peaceful protest.

It’s not a disgrace at all. The “diggers” fought so we could do it.

It amazes me to be honest. As an avid press conference watcher it’s been refreshing having you in there, someone hawthorn minded who actually knows how to ask questions that haven’t already been answered elsewhere during the week.

Listening to guys on talk shows during the week speculating on things that have already been answered in a post game presser does my nuts in. They take 6-7 mins to watch, don’t know why this isn’t mandatory for most AFL reporters. I really thought more people would be present in them tbh

There is a time and a place for everything.

I genuinely thought Norf would show some fight after the thumping last week and playing at their Tassie stomping ground.

But nope. Barely a whimper. They are looking in for yet another thumping this week against a Crows side that has been playing poorly + never played particularly well in Tassie either

This was the game they would've given themselves a real chance of winning but they're getting spanked. Not good.

Though Crows did beat us in Tassie when Thilthorpe (a name i had to google) kicked 5 goals on debut against us.

Bollocks to carlol, if the scum wasn't in the competition (which they shouldn't be) then the brown baggers would take my #1 spot for most disliked club.
Will the cats be exposed by the bloos today? A part of me wants them to be but ffs it's carton and I wish them no success.
I wish they could both lose 😕

Harry Sheezel what a waste. I'd feel sorry for the kid if he wasn't silly enough to have re-signed. Oh scratch that I still feel sorry for him 😂

Clarko finally moved him into the midfield in the third quarter - should have started there. He's wasted in the backline at the minute for North - they need him hitting damaging passes into the forward 50 and getting possessions in the centre.
