The Cats are playing the incompetencies of the umpires and have for some time. They will try and burst through tackles and if unsuccessful, just release the hands and drop the ball. HTB every time but never paid. If the umpires did their job, the Cats would have nowhere near as many clearances.

The entire result has been completely manufactured. Umpiring has ruined the sport. That deliberate intent bullsh!t out of bounds earlier this quarter was the most blatant I've ever seen, it would have deliberate even in the nineties. They didn't pay it Geelong won the hit out get a goal.
This game has been full cheating mode. They haven't even tried to hide it.
