Why do they make the 50 m arcs at the SCG 45 m? The stupid ground is so small the arcs would touch the centre square. Papley's a longish kick but he is sending them through post height.
Visiting teams get to that line and try and give it off, if they took the shot they'd make the distance.
This is a furphy, especially since the renovation at the ground

And Gulden, though he's normally setting them up. Borderline unfair.

Crazy that they're playing such good footy and their leading goal kicker is Hayward with 22.

I want to hate them because of the freebie factor, but they are all so good to watch.

Heeney, Warner, Gulden, Mills, Papley and Blakey are skilful, brave and so exciting.

At full strength, this may be biased, but I think we're one of the few clubs who have the combination of youth, toughness, energy and intensity to match them through the middle - particularly for the next few years. Freo, Port and Gold Coast are the others.

Why then do people who can't make the distance from the ARC at the 'G send it through at post height at the SCG?

Heeney and Warner putting the foot on the accelerator in that second quarter was scary to watch for opposition teams. What a duo to have in the midfield. They do it all. And hasn't Grundy been a great pick up for them. Just seems to keep getting better every time I see the Swans. Great game.
