Still think kornes sketch was the funniest thing I've seen in footy last season. Taking the piss on block head cotchin was a thing of beauty.

I'm convinced half the battle establishing their brand on the Gold Coast has simply been due to the choice of colours, logo, guernsey design and club song.

It's like they've let the kids from creche manage their marketing.

You've taken his laconic characteristic as a player - I'm using the correct meaning of 'laconic' here, not the incorrect usage employed by the vast majority of the AFL media - and assumed he will not be an eloquent commentator once he joins the media.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being an accomplished media performer who actually uses (the correct word) 'lackadaisical' instead of 'laconic' - something I've only ever heard Derm doing amongst AFL media folk.

I am introverted and hate talking about myself but will gladly talk your ear off about other things. I get the 'wtf' reactions to him possibly becoming a commentator - but I also get that possibly he just hates talking about himself/his own performances but is better at chatting more broadly about footy.

Jack has often mentioned that Dusty was a completely different bloke behind closed doors - he even lauded his leadership role within the team - compared to what he came across in the public eye.

Barack Obama is one of the better-known introverts of recent times. Didn't stop him becoming one of the most influential public speakers of his generation.

People can change when they take on new roles.

Cotchin takes himself so seriously that's why it was hilarious. Quite a boring monotonous guy which is how his original video came across like. Was asking to be taking the piss out of if you ask me.
