Far out North should be investigated for this. They couldn’t have used their future first for something better than 27?
Wait, North traded to get the Whitlock boy? And they traded their future first? 2025 pick 3 for 27?

What happens if a club lose a FA and they have traded there first away, and the player is a band 1 pick.

Does it come after ladder position or after there first pick if they have trade it out and only hold a future 2nd.

Their ladder position

North needed a kpf so they push the button this draft instead of hoping for another Whitlock type to be available next draft. Also, considering that they'll still have a top 5 pick once LDU gives them the flick. Not as catastrophic as it seems, it's just a huge hand for the tigers.

The " everyone deserves a second chance " pigheaded boys club will strike again unfortunately!!! Appalling how some clubs are run by meatheads where a person's onfield exploits are so much more important than off field.

He’s a repeat offender. He has had his 2nd chance that I (personally) afford all
After your 2nd chance, 👋🏼

ask the courts tbh.
people get plenty second chances as the cost of incarceration and burden to society is far higher than rehabilitation
I think you’ll find that myself & The hands of stone are not talking about the court system.

We are talking about the AFL & the clubs who are supposedly considering him

His lack of respect for women will never change. Hes had rehad.
He is a lowlife that should never be allowed to set foot on an AFL ground

1. When it comes to threatening women, I'm not sure 'second chance' applies...

2. If it ever DOES apply, it means it may happen ONCE, and then then is remorse and change.

It doesn't apply to multiple instances, going to court for multiple offenses isn't your ONE chance

I understand your position and his behaviour is awful but what’s the alternative? Don’t we need to find a way to get through to young men in this position and isn’t it worth keeping going until we do? Maybe the lifeline of AFL for such a talented footballer is the carrot that is needed to get him to see the light. If not what next he goes into society without really learning the lessons needed how does that go? The ultimate goal surely is he respects women so we should focus on what achieves that aim and total ostracism whilst easy for those disconnected I doubt ends well. He has a lot of ground to make up but I’m in the camp of giving him the chance to do it within strict guidelines.

all that aside just watched 2008 hawks pies a few takeaways
1. Thomas Murphy a great 3rd defender unlucky no to win a flag
2. Chance Bateman massively underrated for his kicking absolutely elite
