Carro wrong again

She said yesterday on 3aw:

"My understanding is that Cameron Schwab is gone; if not today, then tomorrow."
"...yes, I think he is gone."
"Dean Bailey has more chance of surviving the next few weeks than Cameron Schwab."

Some may say that Melbourne changed their mind on Schwab at the last minute, but I don't care, coz what she said still didn't happen.

I'm not sure he is saying that they should not work at all, it the deception and veiled comments which irritates the most.

Tim Watson's commentary yesterday, with his own son in the game, should not happen again as he was so biased it was cringeworthy. The other commentators should have politely advised him that there were two teams out on the field.

He should not be asked back again.

To say Carro was wrong is a bit like saying the Age was published today. She has a low success rate when she starts spreading her gossip disguised as inside information. Truth is she is being manipulated by those who talk to her from within the clubs and the AFL.

Boy I'm getting sick of Ling in the media, he's more media man than football player now. Once he's retired I don't care if he lives at channel 10 but can he just do a little less media while he's playing. I won't be tuning in to the game plan this thursday.

Dwayne Russell could do a nonstop Cossack dance while presenting this show, and it'd still be the least annoying thing about him.

Worst football 'personality' ever.

I mourned the loss of David Hookes all those years ago, but if I had any idea Hooksey's passing would give Dwayne Russell his big media break, I would've mourned even more deeply.

Why does he have to give you the result before showing the highlights? There are some games that just passed me by without me taking much notice and I'd prefer to watch the highlights without being told at the start who won.

But the hand gestures are weird. I usually fast forward through the coach's comments and Dwayne but it looks quite comical. It's almost like he's a 60's crooner.
