I remember watching the lot in the common room of my uni residence. Was laughing all the way through the second half, grimly hoping for a 200pt loss tbh.this is one of those 'I remember where I was when it happened' sort of events, what a nightmare. To this day have never watched the game or even the 'highlights'.
Great write up, Wona!
As a supporter, sometimes you get a mind-set where you know the boys are going to come out hard and have a red hot crack. I think they'll be up and about today. Forget last week. They looked listless and ran out of steam.
All I ask is from today is that the lads run hard both ways, take the game on, and COMPETE! Go Dees!
How quickly these hopes were dashed. Wonna's 22 pt loss prediction similarly overoptimisticI don't know why but i've got a really good feeling about today. Not saying we'll win but i think we can make a game of it down there at the Cattery and pop the Bailey saga in the back seat.....hopefully.
Jesus. You’re brave.I went, had Geelong fans actually pitying us. Ive never been to a game and received pity. It was nice.
Jesus. You’re brave.
I just watched it on tv kind of frozen. Wasn’t even angry, just shocked. I truly thought our club had had it, folding was inevitable.
People did sort of creep around me awkwardly for days after though. I guess that was pity. It was just weird though
I remember watching it at home and couldn't believe what I was seeingYesterday was 10 years since 186...

Just watching Schache take his 3rd intercept marks in defence and I can't ******* believe we havent tried Weid in defence.
you need to be able to mark it to do that. nah I like Weid reckon he would have got the chance if Petty was injured. maybe not with Goodwin being coach thoughJust watching Schache take his 3rd intercept marks in defence and I can't ******* believe we havent tried Weid in defence.
Saying that aged like milk is generous ...Had a memory pop up on Facebook yday of a status the morning of 186 talking about heading down to the cattery and sneaking a win. Lol.
I agree but with Petty playing well how does he break into the team as a KPD'er?Just watching Schache take his 3rd intercept marks in defence and I can't ******* believe we havent tried Weid in defence.
Not sure why Facebook persist with that feature, every single one makes me cringe.Had a memory pop up on Facebook yday of a status the morning of 186 talking about heading down to the cattery and sneaking a win. Lol.

Pretty sure the Boomers took over facebook anyway. It's mostly 60+ now.Not sure why anyone over 30 persists with a Facebook account

I have never even logged into Twitter in my lifehate Facebook and the whole friend request thing, should just have follow button like twitter, you feel obliged to accept some person you haven't seen in 10+ years that you weren't even friends with back then. FB is sh*t.
