Not really. Petty and Lever are out and we are still 3-0. Smith's been very good but he ain't an intercepting defenders arseh*le and Tommo is looking beat.

Dunno thought he was better this week but he's gone from not a quick footballer to the Ox in 2000
Yeah, that was my impression of him too. Moves like treacle. I think he's going to have to work on that or there are others who will go past him. We've got enough height in May, Lever and Smith - so he can't just rely on his size to stay in. No reason he can't build on his speed and agility though, if he wants it bad enough.

Probably will take Tommo about another few weeks to get back to what he was pre-ACL, though he is trying to speedrun the Lever path, trying to do it in half the time.

This is exactly why he wasn’t named until last minute against the Dogs despite being ahead of Smith in the pecking order. Clearly needs weeks in the legs because he’s bloody slow

Yeah they do the odds to $100 not to $1
However when you are at a racetrack it really goes whacky
Being big racing fan I hit up a race track when I was there years back at was confused as ****
They have a win, place (top 2) & show (top 3) as opposed to our win & place (top 3). So a $20 EW bet ended up setting me back $60 instead of $40
However that isn't even the weird part. It's the fact that places & show are to a $2 split not a $1 split. I remember thinking I had won $80 or something and only got $40 back. After some frustrating back and forth the lady at the tote explained to me how their dumb ass system works
So 4/1 on a win plays $4 for a dollar bet
But 4/1 on a place only pays $2 for a dollar bet
Cannot seriously work out the logic off this at all!

I remember finding out the hard way here that oh NFL bets, if you bet head to head but the team wins by less than 3 it counts as a drawn bet and you lose lol
