I never put my gender in my profile here or anywhere, so I guess assumptions are at least understandable. There are some odd types online. Mostly harmless sort of - but I’m pretty sure most of the women who have been on Bigfooty for long enough have had weird PMs from this couple of guys that just seem to be kind of immature and lonely and want to make friends or something. I forget their names but both I think were West Coast supporters and they always send this stuff once they work out someone is female which is weird.

I don’t know how it works in Canada, but partner is pretty common here for any long or longish relationship between people who are unmarried. So that was the genesis of my museum piece comment. I wouldn’t actually especially care if someone thought I was a lesbian. I don’t think it makes a difference to me or anyone. I mean, I didn’t mind being a gay man for a bit there.

I used to work with this guy that resigned and became an oyster farmer in Tasmania. He was once talking about how farming oysters for eating they need to be neutered. I suddenly had this picture of him taking them in an esky to the VET and picking them up the next day

I watched that on IQ because I got in 30 minutes late and wanted to go from the beginning. Forgot to shut off my phone so it texted the result 5 minutes before the end
