Hey guys im looking to be able to watch nab games and regular season games on my computer and/or phone this season as i dont have foxtel. Found this afl live app $90 for the season was wondering if anyone has used it or has any better ideas? https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwxLDEsImNvbS50ZWxzdHJhLmFuZHJvaWQuYWZsIl0.
Found it worked very well for me last season. It is 4:3 though rather than 16:9 but it did the job very well. If you're watching it from your phone you wouldn't notice, I picked up a MHL cable which meant I was able to plug my phone into my tv to duplicate the image and watch it off of that.

Maybe sign up for one month first ($15, it's reoccurring payments so if you don't like cancel it before the month runs out or you'll be billed again) and see what you think of it before signing up for the full season.

Does anybody know if there will be a full rolling lockout in Fantasy for round 1? I swear I've read all over the fantasy site but I can't find a details.

To answer my own question there seems to be a full rolling lockout up until North vs Essendon, then a full lockout applies.

Holy smokes, round 1 just got very very interesting.

I'm doing an Ultimate Footy Dynasty League this year. The first thing I did was put a line through these 275 players. If anyone can spot someone on here I've missed that is good/will be good then let me know. Even anyone who is best 25 would be fine. Long term tall prospects like Leslie/Acres/McCarthy/Jacksch/Apeness have been intentionally put on the list.

Does anyone know who the Geelong rookies are...again.
It's the same every year...the only website that doesn't have a rookie list...

so ive created a league but its a nightmare for my friends to join. They enter the league code exactly only for it to say there is an error. So i send them an email which they receive but when they click on the link to join it takes them to the fantasy website but not to the league. Its heckin'g ridiculous.

DT Elite Question:

Last season, with 10 teams, you could make the season fit snugly into the real H&A season, vsing everyone twice, then a 4 week finals series without really any missed rounds of play. However, if you went 12, it was too many fixtures to play everyone twice, so you HAD to play everyone once. Which meant league fixtures covered 11 weeks, plus a 4 week finals series, and almost half the season there are no games/points to be won.

Does the 'At Least Once' option when setting up the league mean in a 12 team league, you won't have this problem? Simply it will by chance, double up some fixtures to make it last the season??

There will be 420 players taken. I've disregarded these blokes. Felt like seeing if someone could spot a good player amongst all the rubbish.
From swans, the ducks are interesting. Keep an eye on for Nankervis, Derricks and Naismith for 4th ruck. Biggs and Cunningham are also possibilities to see game time

Why on earth would you want an 8 team finals series in a 10/12 team comp? If you have a 12 team comp, play every twice (so 22 games) EPL style.

Does real DT have 'best 18' on ground over bye weeks? Thought I read somewhere they didn't, but can't find it now.

I believe they do, read it in the rules somewhere the other week (at least I thought I did).

If you can find where it explains the scoring you'll see it there somewhere.

This is my team atm... Any feedback would be appreciated I still have 72k leftover

I wouldn't assume that Matt Crouch will walk into the round 1 team for Adelaide as their midfield is quite set, so maybe wait until at least the end of the NAB Cup before making a call on him. Perhaps also consider moving Hodge into the backline as given midfielders generally score more, you'll be wanting as many genuine mids starting in the midfield, with other dual-position players (like Hodge) in the other positions.

Your forward line is also very risky with all of Higgins, Walker, and Clark quite likely to not be ready for round 1. If they were to be completely fit and stay injury free, then it would be a masterstroke, but considering Walker and Clark don't look like playing until a month into the season at the earliest and serious question marks over Higgins fitness, you may want to reconsider.

Thanks for the feedback, Actually spoke with Sando over the weekend and he loves Crouch and has high hopes from him, expects him to play at least 6-10 games this year so I wouldn't be surprised to see him play Rd1. If Ellis is fit though Id probably start him over Crouch but I haven't really paid attention to pre season at all until yesterday so I don't know how he is going atm.

My forward line was my biggest worry I know Walkers out but at that price I had to get him. No idea about Clark this pre season thats news to me thanks for the heads up and I didn't really know who else to get so thats why I just got Higgins, I also didn't know he was injured. Will change the forward line around but again thanks for the feedback :thumbsu:

I did hear that in the press conference where Sanderson talked highly of Crouch, but it would possibly be a safer bet going with someone around the same price range but who is likely to play more games with great security (ie, Michie, Tyson etc.) at least until he has debuted. That said, he does look like he'll be a high scorer for a young player, so he may be a good downgrade/quick cash cow option.

Clark was still in rehab for his foot issues and has had a hamstring setback in the past week or so too, so it's best off waiting until he plays rather than starting him. I'd recommend Gary Rohan for the bench or the last forward position simply because there aren't many properly cheap forward options this season, at least at the moment. Walker also won't play until a month or so in, and even then he's unlikely to be at full fitness or playing to his best, so maybe look at someone like Tom Hawkins or Josh Caddy at similar-ish prices, as both should improve on their scores from last year reasonably significantly.
