WOW just another Raiders game.
Absolute Roller coaster. Thank you lockdown, working at home rocks. Got to get to the stadium.

Probably will never post anything NFL ever again. 🤣
Not a bad trip to Las Vegas... Quite a few things to do there and in Arizona.

I'll just say, big wraps to TheBrownDog's Dallas for their thorough arse kicking they gave my Eagles on Tuesday morning :( Well done sir. Well done.

That being said, the high school sweetheart that got me following the Eagles broke up with me so I actually don't know if I can love the Eagles like I once did.

Not sure how many on here follow the NBA but as an OKC fan it was good to see Josh Giddey translate his pre-season form into his best game of the regular season so far with 19 pts, 8 reb, 7 ast.

At least all those poor souls who bought OKC merch with Westbrook's name and number about 5 years ago, might have a chance to repurpose them.

Just watched the highlights - he moves really smoothly and has great vision.

He's got almost a European style of play with those little floaters, but he's got a quick enough first step to also drive to the basket. Plus an outside shot. A little like Doncic.

Josh Giddey watch: First NBA double double 18pts, 2reb, 10ast. Played a big part in a 26 point comeback over the Lakers today, just looks like a 10 year pro with how comfortably he's settled into the NBA style of play.

Never thought id see Namibia above India in the T20 world cup standings

Obviously that's going to change very soon, As India are rightfully one of the favourites to win it. But its still funny to see

Tim Paine's been an idiot >

https://www.foxsports.com.au/cricke...s/news-story/f0f04ffd8664c276552f36217f98ab3d

The signs were there though > 8 seconds in.

CA too.

They were aware of it as Paine was being appointed permanent captain. Idiots.

Seems Channel 9 didn't think it was newsworthy enough at the time either.

Some quality morals & ethics being displayed all around here.

I think what I find the most amusing about all this is that both Mark Waugh & Shane Warne get to share their opinions on the matter :D

Shane Warne is lucky that smart phones weren't really a thing for most of his career ;)

Pretty grubby from Tim Paine though, the only remorse I'd say he's got is the fact that it's come out. Didn't feel the need to step down as Captain just knowing what he'd done, had no problem taking the captaincy knowing what he'd done. Very average.

Rewatching Warholm months later and achievement not remotely reduced.

Still the best race i've ever witnessed. Three racers breaking world record, three other racers shattering their national records yet the whole thing forever emphasised by Warholm running the most perfect race in existence.

The "stacks on" the English cricket team is eerily familiar to the reaction after we thrashed India in Adelaide last year. Not suggesting England is at India's level but they still have quality cricketers in their side. Root, Stokes, Buttler and Robinson would all probably make the Australian side at the moment. They are about to bring in two world class bowlers to play in ideal conditions. And we have one injured opener, one opener who is yet to make runs, an unproven middle order and an injury to a key bowler. I don't think the gap between the sides is necessarily as big as what the media is making out.

The bolded is the problem, the bulk of medias modus operandi these days is clickbait, exaggeration, embellishment and sensationalism.

Probably the greatest race in history.

That formula 1 finish.

Indescribable drama!!!!

Holy holy holy sh*t!
I'm only a casual watcher but boy was that crazy. Have no idea on the regulations involved, but it did feel like it was a decision made for tv. Will certainly make for some spicy viewing on the next drive to survive though lol

But although I wanted Hamilton to win, Its always good to see someone else win it for a change

Have to feel for the race director though. Between a rock and a hard place. F1 is pure entertainment and the alternative of having the championship decided under a safety car probably would have been equally criticised.

I feel like his problem was looking at an either/or situation (all lap or all unlap) and came up with his own compromise that seemed severely preferential.
