Pakistan are in the process of setting a new record for highest ever score to still lose by an innings. 556 first up but now 78/5 chasing 823/7

More to the point that 823 came in 150 overs, so 5.5 runs per over which is just ridiculous. Root and Brook with a 4th wicket partnership of 454!

Amazing how you can score 2 runs in 9 innings then get 4 off one hit. Wonder how many strikes he was on when he hit that one...

Also I think this just happened this morning... Mental throw to win the game. Lethal would be furious at the bloke who caught it for not being front and centre

It was the first picth as Yankees had just brought in Cortes the pitcher to close out the batter (Freeman) which was a massive risk but the previous pitcher (Cousins) had given up some earned runs. But to think the Yanks started the 10 innings with Weaver and churned through two more pitchers to wind up with that was horrendous.

Im not a fan of either club but every October I get pretty excited by the MLB finals series.

Jake Fraser-McGurk is overrated IMO. Rarely scores any runs, average defence but keeps on getting picked for ODI.
As for the test team, they need to pick a few younger players like the Lions finally did...
