Sad news, I was hoping he would return back to the game. He had the potential to challenge the top 4.

Now I am hoping Del Petro gets fit and returns back soon.

Sadly Del Potro is one of my favourite players as well.

Fed is injured. nothing serious.

I want to inform you that yesterday I underwent arthroscopic surgery on my knee. I injured my knee the day after the semi-finals in Australia. After getting tests done when I returned home, it was determined that I had torn my meniscus. I apologize to my friends in Rotterdam and Dubai, as I was very much looking forward to playing those events. While this is an unfortunate setback, I am encouraged and grateful that my doctor said the procedure was a success. I am looking forward to attacking the rehabilitation process this afternoon with my team and working hard to get back out on tour as soon as possible. Thanks for all your incredible support. I will check in with all of you soon

Looks like he's out for a month, so he'll probably try and return in time for Indian Wells starting from March 7.

Must have played the semi injured, surely. At one stage Fed had over 1000 games clocked up without ever retiring. Not sure if he has since but that's a long record in a sport where players will retire when they break a finger nail.

It would be great news if he returned! He's at an age when he's fully fit that he should be challenging Djokovic right now but injuries have hindered him for years sadly.

He's coming from a long way back but hopefully there's no more setbacks for him because it's been too long between drinks since he last played.

I only saw her lose in Round 1 at the AO a couple of years ago (against Venus Williams i think). She had a lot of success in doubles with Dellacqua reaching several GS finals. She had/has potential I would say.
