Think he said in an interview the following day that he'd received lots of nice messages.. but hadn't heard from Gerard. Speaks volumes, that and the miniscule mention he got on 360 that evening (the only time Whateley hasn't given a grand oration!)

Got told by a few people that he didn't pull the trigger but didn't exact go into bat for Robbo either .

The rare times I switched on you could tell he was annoyed at Robbo' lower level of professionalism
