Sorry dude, we only take drunks and drug addicts and even lead foot speed demons in our squad but we stop at sexual predators.
:thumbsu: I'll give you that one hahaha

Dimma works by this philosphy - when you go to work, if you really enjoy your workmates, you work harder. Alternatively, if you hate your workmates and they all bitch and undermine everyone, then you stop giving a shit about the company.

The whole process of player development is mediated largely by personality types. This is why Richmond is now becoming "a place of elite character". Call is club culture, organisational psychology, or ancient greek voodoo - if you get a group of people who truly love their environment and enjoy each other's company then their output will far exceed an equally talented group without the same daily person-to-person interactions.

At the end of the day, if you feel good you do better.

I'm not comparing them as players, but as the situation they are in.

Everyone passed on Cousins in the first draft and we took him with the last pick in the second draft, after showing next to non intrest in him.

They have both been in the same situation.

And really, would you throw away your membership if we drafted him?

I know I wouldn't, because that's just stupid.

you do realise that Lovett was only declared not guilty because the girl was too drunk for the court to recognise that she said yes or no. (He DID do what he is accused of IMO)

Aside from his off field issues and he had enough of them before he was charged with rape he also hasn't played football for over a year.

He wasn't that great a footballer that you would be willing to take a chance on him after more than a year out of the game.

Would no longer be a member if they were to get him.

he might be able to offer something.
Not that I'd want to be the first club he coaches at, but still.

I'd still like him on the list, even as insurance.

his past is just to dirty to take a chance as 'Insurance'. Cousins was a AA player before he was booted, did the hard yards and came back.

Fevola before Lovett.

please i know his cousin, he's got problems and so does this kid, please don't get him, he has done many bad things, take my word for it tigerland55

Well, if you know someone inside his family and he's not up to it, then no.

I was assuming he was out to make a point and had put his problems behind him.

Oh well, worth a try.

And despite no-one agreeing with me, I still love you guys :D

The guy had one good year! Hardly a proven player.

Not only that, he was soft at the contest.

He's been out of the system for 2 years not one!

Overrated player, terrible rapport with his peers, an unequivocal no from me!

Well, on the bright side. It gave us something to talk about....

Something to bond about :D

Yeah nothing wrong with finding out the thoughts of others.

A thread like this is a small sample of the reaction that Richmond supporters would give on a whole if the club went down that track. I didnt myself realise that there would be such outrage if the club went for him despite my own adverse feelings towards such a pick up.

No one else agreeing kinda surpised me.

And to be honest, the whole thread came about froma dream. Where I was with Andy, almost as a mentor helping him through the stages of the AFL and clubs.

I thought I might be a prophet :D
Well, if Richmond does draft him now I've told you all that. You may call me Prohpet ;)

You know what happens to prophets though T55. They end up beheaded, nailed to a cross or fed to the lions. :p;)

Can't believe anyone would ever want him at the club

To suggest that he was found not guilty means he definitely did nothing wrong is just as ridiculous. Hell if the Saints players didn't even want anything to do with him then you know he must have done something bad given their history of moral standards.
