Article on Power's hamstring injury on the AFL website:

GREATER Western Sydney co-captain Luke Power will miss the rest of the NAB Cup and is in doubt for round one of the AFL season after injuring his hamstring at training.

"He won't play the rest of the NAB Cup, but we are hopeful he will be right to play against the Swans in round one."

Dylan Shiel and Adam Treloar are both around a fortnight away from returning to the side.

Will Giles be playing the majority of games in the ruck? Does he have the engine or will he be rested during the year.

Im considering playing him as a 2nd ruck if he can average 75+.

He will be the ruckman when Brogan is not. Don't know if he will be in the 22 when Brogan is though. He probably won't play enough as the only ruckman unless Brogan gets injured.

I splurged a bit and got Coniglio in instead of either of these two. I think if they have missed so much football already they will struggle to make the team this season with all the competition there is.

Cheers. Think i might stick with him as 3rd or 4th ruck.

Can someone rank these guys in order from better option to worse option. All from GWS:

Shiel
Smith
Kennedy

At the moment I have all three- leaning towards playing one of Smith and Kennedy in the mid and the other in the foward line purely because of DPP. Would there be much of a difference in job security and price between the three?

This article pretty much sums up my thoughts on the team:

I would say Coniglio, Smith and Hampton are pushing to be automatic inclusions. I can't see why these guys and Coniglio in particular would miss any games.

I tend to think the non-senior players (apart from Patton) that missed the pre-season probably won't have a major impact on this year depending on their NEAFL form.

Mohr will play a bit of football and will probably be better suited to SC.

Bugg is a quality kid and should play regularly and average between 60-70.

Treloar will probably miss the first couple of rounds with a hamstring i think, but when he plays get him in.

G'day Sheedy boys and girls.

I'm putting together an SC league, and I'm hoping to get one rep from each team - just for fun, but it should be a pretty competitive league. Any of you interested?

Hi all Giant supporters. Re: Supercoach, i'm really tossing up between Darley & Bugg in my backline. Anyone in the know who have watched either of them a bit, know who would be a better selection? Who is likely to get more games and score higher? Thanks very much. Good luck for the season.
