Gibbs stays - Who else do we throw the kitchen sink at?

Should he stay or should he go now?

Finally someone with a sense of humor haha. I am aware that it still could go either way im just trying to be positive mate. How ever its impossible to convey tone through a post, guess thats why so many people on here are so serious.

I can tell by the number of posts you are making on the subject that you are very keen & excited to see it happen, I just don't want you to have a coronary in the process.

Some of us have always loved him man :) Ive been a fan since day one.

I have probably been one of his harshest critics but only because I knew that his current standard was within him, he always had so much talent yet for what ever reason wasn't putting it together. Used to drive me mental seeing him having to tag players with half the talent he had when really he should be the one being tagged. He has as much class and ability as Pendlebury and I am glad he is starting to show it.. I just hope he doesn't end up being one of those players that steps up and plays good when negotiating a contract and then goes missing as soon as the ink is dry.

Always been his biggest fan and will remain his biggest fan. :) The arguments against him have always been overly harsh. He clearly wanted to play midfield but for whatever reason, Ratts wanted him down back. Sure, he was reliable and stabilised the defence but it didn't really allow him to truly impact a game. The one season where he did play predominantly midfield he finished top 10 in the Brownlow.

Good to see Mick has given him his wish and allowed him to play the role he excelled in as a junior. I think that, as much as any perceived shift in mentality, has been the catalyst in Bryce becoming arguably our best player.

Would still have Murphy infront but Bryce is catching up very quickly.

This will be unpopular, but after watching today's game, I think we should let Gibbs go. We need the extra pick badly, and if he stays with us we're basically condemning him to a premiership-free career.

Even if we miraculously had a 2-3 year rebuild and turnaround to become competitive again, we still won't be able to match it with the GC and GWS monsters who will be coming into their prime.

Our next best shot at a flag now will be after GC and GWS have had their moment in the sun. By that stage Gibbs will be nearing retirement, or already gone.

We should let him go and start the hard rebuild the club needs. It might sound awful in the short term, but I can't help but think it will be the best thing for both parties in the long run. :(

Throwing the kitchen sink hurt my back

How considerate of Gibba to hold the presser 2 hrs before my exam. What a guy.

just like our premiership clock, seems gibba's presser is running late.....

A lot of this thread is now redundant. Any speculation about who else to go for can be one of the list management threads and there are a couple of Gibbs threads around.
