Thanks,:(

at this rate I'm going to have to put my yougest up for adoption.
Hopefully he's still to young to be permanantly effected.

Think of the money you'll save - your jumper won't need food or education, and won't bleat about being left behind next time you go on holiday (and actually, won't mind being stuffed in a suitcase to accompany you - I bet your youngest would object to that!) :D

As long as it is with a North supporting family.....otherwise you could really do some long term damage.

By my quick calculations, we are over 50k on the jumper auction alone, that is a terrific fundraiser for the club.

How does this shit work with the auctions? Do they finish at the set time?

I seem to recall them shifting up if someone bids at a certain time?

Agreed i was bidding on the Monster jumper finish time was 8pm tonight.

Was refreshing every 15 seconds to see if i won(was the highest bidder until someone put a bid in with 2 minites to go) suddenly when another bid was made in the dying 2 minutes the auction finish time changed from 8pm to 8:04pm!!

Bid again but still don't no if i won/lost 45 minutes later!!

I just got Trotters, but because how how shitfully constructed that site is - I have no idea if won, not only was the notification email slow, but there actual auction page kept returning errors.

****ed. Just use ****ing ebay.

Harros went for over 600, Thomo's over 400.

Shagger 500.

Lower pushing 400, ToD's wifey will be annoyed.

McConnell 275 (Well done Zebs)

Kasey's passed in at 335 (big reserve)

Adams around 270

Finally got the result won the bid for monster's jumper for $560.

Am a little perplexed at the receipt though;

Date: Friday 13 July, 2007
Invoice No: ####
Item Title: No Postage
Item Price: $560.00
Buyers Premium: $56.00 (what is a buyers premium?)
Postage & Handling: $0.00
GST: $5.60 (shouldn't this be GST of 10% or $56??)
Total: $621.60

What was with KC's reserve?

Marquee player?
$350?

For those interested:

Archer - $8000
Simpson - $520
Hansen - $250 (WTF! I'd have held back if I'd known this would be hanging around)

And.....

Grima - $379 (GiantRoo and GrimasGirl bidding war)
Timmay - $291 (If I was Tim I'd be letting Hansen know all about it.)

How can they not ping you for the postage yet hit you with a buyers premium AND charge GST on it?

Rubbish site.

I'd love to buy Archers jumper but after getting the wife to agree last year to organising our wedding/honeymoon around football (the crows and the Pies games which we lost), getting her to agree to allowing me to name our future son Archer, and just getting her agreeing days ago to buying a holiday house/potential move to France; i couldn't really ask her to agree to me throwing across $8000+ for Archers jumper!!

Yes it's strange i'm picking it up from the club, but i'm paying a premium of 10%(or $56) but GST work's out to be equal to 1% or $5.60!!!
