Would get off if it was cited, all he has to say is he lost balance/was pushed/pulled and he gets off.

Then Jolly would have to explain himself and he would be stuffed, there's no way he was even thinking about the ball.

Neither will be cited.

Pretty sure Ben Johnson was involved in a scuffle where his arm came off the Saints players jumper and became a proper punch that was connected. There were quite a few little incidents but if anyone gets suspended it'll be shithouse.

If anyone goes for any incident yesterday it will be a complete joke hopefully both teams are at relatively full strength and it is another ripper contest.

If he goes , then so will Jolly and Johnson and maye one other from the Pies will as well.

how can you be suspended if the game though played didnt play as there was no result ?
confuscious say " stuff it " let all play again

The MRP and umpires adopt a different policy around Grand Final time. They allow the players a little more leeway because of the high stakes involved for all concerned. Everyone prefers it this way. Players, fans, coaches and media. The game is a bit rougher and more uncompromising, but the game as a spectacle is better.

What I want to know is this...

Why can't the MRP and umpires adopt the same principle all year round?

Why do they have act like petty school teachers during the home and away?

Why must Buddy Franklin be rubbed out for trivial offences in the early rounds, robbed of a Coleman Medal and see his team get eliminated in an interstate final because we lost those early games, but in the final two weeeks of the season, players are given carte-blanche to knee each other in the head?

CONSISTENCY

That's all we want...

It was Harry Uh oh's head, Ball is trailing behind.

herp derp.

Explanation: Goddard managed to pull of one of the greatest marks in grand-final history and kicked the goal to give you guys the lead and all the momentum, and you still couldn't win.

herp derp.

Explanation: Collingwood managed to dominate in inside fifties and scoring shots, but couldn't put away the Saints because they kept kicking behinds. Whoever said the Colliwobbles were gone was wrong.
