My personal opinion, I don't see him being dropped any time soon

Any reason for that opinion Bagels? Saw Lonergan was named on a HFF - wasn't he drafted as an elite inside mid last year? He already has a big build too doesn't he? Should help him cope with the rough stuff at AFL level.

Thinking of trading him in to sit on the bench and hopefully grow in value, price is right - just trying to see how safe his place in the team would be

With hunt and rischa out, Jesse and really prestia are our real inside players, although prestia is real good on the outside. He has had 6 and 7 tackles from memory in first 2 games so deffs loves the rough stuff. Was built too well when he came to the club, funny an 18yr old kid too big haha, he had to loose a couple of kgs in pre season. He will rotate in and out of the mid from hff just to protect his body a little I presume, sort of played that way last week. I wouldn't expect him to score huge numbers, if he hits 70 this week I would be happy, more a money generator I would assume at least for a couple of weeks before he scores big, if he does

Cheers buddy, you've sold me on him. Traded him in to be my midfield emergency (with Viney missing this week). Hope he has a cracking game, have been lucky to get on Kerridge and Mayes in the last few weeks so hopefully the streak continues :D

No problem, he better not let me down now ;)

Is Dan Gorringe likely to get games anytime soon?

Keep a look out and see if smith and Dixon (knee and ankle respectively) are fit for next weekend, both our back up ruckmen, gorringe and nicholls were named in the best players in the 2's yday, with nicholls best on. So maybe, wouldn't rule it out, however debatable js

Edit: it now seams there is at least one rucking role for the rest of the reason so js looks better, unfortunately

Sunny_ any idea if Dixon will be back next week or is there more to this ankle problem than first thought?

Is Gorringe the clear No#1 ruck option for the rest of the year?
