Things must have changed mate cause you certainly wouldnt say the man was timid. He coached Murrabit to a flag last year and from what I saw (from an opposition club) was a very handy player:thumbsu:

I hope I am the last person to reply to Deamly's crap. For his information these small country teams work their arse of to make sure the communties stay together. I am a local around the Nullawil area and without these football sides the towns it self will fall off the face of the earth. Its ignorant people like you that make me sick.

i dont think that the earth would notice if these towns, or lack there of, fall off it's face... i would like to call them villages. everyone who lives and plays footy there remind me of primates:thumbsu:

Watch out this year James Urquhart at Nullawil footy club. Has been injured at the start of the season but when he gets going he could rip senior games apart with his pace and skill on the half forward flank. Played with Jim in the amatuers in Melbourne and he is a gun.

I remember Urquhart from a practice game I watched between Old Xav's and SKOBS a couple of years ago. Absolutely tore the game apart, very fast for a taller player. Slick skills too. Never played at Old Xavs again, though, even though I heard they chased him pretty hard. Should be a very handy addition for Nullawil if he keeps his aggression under control

:thumbsu: We are 3 rounds into the year and their has been alot of discussion on the forms of a number of teams. Post a reply with your thoughts!

Hay: It seems that Hay would probably have the biggest side in regards to size. If they can make sure they can keep the bestt 22 on the field who knows what will happen

Quamby: The real surprise packets so far. There was alot of hard recruiting done by Demeria over the preseason and it seems that it wil pay off. Nick Dillon has been the stand out.

Nulli: On top of the ladder after three rounds and should have been 3-0 but was unlucky against the blues. Real tester against Hay this week. Should be clearer by 6 O'Clock of Sat

Ultima: Are they going to be the real deal. A couple of lack luster peformances. Do believe though that they have the list to improve i.e Condelly's, Lawry, Aitken ect.

Wakool: With all the hype over the past couple of months you would have thought that they one the cup already. It seems Shane Harvey is not having the impact we all thought.

The Blues: Hards to say yet, but maby they will come back to the pack, depends if Henry can fire and bag a couple of big ones.

Swans:.....Well...improving. A long way to go.

Good post catter, where did you get this info, newspapers, or have you played a few of these teams?

Well both. I hope I didn't sound like the big man from hay and the Gaurdian to much. Also to stop reading Deamly crap everyone should put him on you ignore list. Just a thought

The blueboys are going along nicely at the moment, coach Josh Bray has them very well drilled and they will be prominant come finals time once again. A couple of last years premiership players may also be returning mid year, strengthening their list further. Brad Wren is as slippery as ever, although his nose still gets in the way at times.;)

Tigers and Bombers no mentions ?

Macorna: Is the big question is are they playing with their full list yet. They are sitting at 0-3 but if they can get their best out it can turn around. They have the coach coming back in the next couple of weeks so he will be able to show his presence around the ground. Sydney Swans ring any bells boys. The tigers should improve we will wait and see

Wandella: After a towl up in their first game against wakool, wandella shown last week what they are worth beating a highly fancied Ultima. They ahve a chance to make back to back wind against a improving Quamby. If the likes of Chamberlian and Morris keep up their good form anything is possible for the bombers. It will be interesting to see how the bombers play away this week. Maybe Wakool was a hiccup dont know yet

great review catter. what would be your end of home and away ladder:
for mine it would be,

murrabit
nully
wandella
ultima
hay
wakool
quamby
macorna
moula

murrabit, are a great side who should finish up there.
nully, are always good on there day and have some real matchwinners.
wandella, are always young and full of run.
ultima, have lost a few big names, but always work well as a team.
hay, big and strong, always tough at home.
wakool, full of new recruits, but may take time to gel.
quamby, also recruited well, but not as many big names.
macorna, seem to have a few out early, may struggle against top sides.
moula, rebuilding, but in need of more depth.
really anyone down to about wakool, could have a real crack at the flag if they play finals. finals is a completely different ball game. it is great to see a relatively even competition this year.:thumbsu:

On the Money here but a couple of changes for me

Murri
Nulli
Hay
Wandella
Ultima
Quamby
Wakool
Macorna
Mouli

With a big round coming up I think we will have a clearer understading by the end. Only early though:thumbsu:

once again good to see some footy talk.
after 3 rounds it is shaping up as a very even year, and every win, will be very important by seasons end.

I look at it in parts- top bracket
Nullawil- i think there best 6 players are all good matchwinners
Wakool- If the quality of players is true and they can gel will be very hard to beat

Then the next bracket i have
Murrabit- cant beat a champion team
Wandella- always going to be a force, a win over ultima very important
Hay- 8 home games- could be enough to get in with such an even comp

Then next bracket i have- i dont think these two should be left out of finals chances this early, only posting as i see it now.
Ultima- experienced team, alot said on here about them but have the past record to not be discarded-Wakool this week, will be good to hear bout how the recruiting has gone at wakool next week.
Quamby- Much hype surrounded them, 2-1, big test will be this week against wandella

Then Macorna- losses to Ultima and Quamby really put them out of the race
Moulamein- can only see things getting worse for rocket.

Is it true the Brad Clifton has had a rift with Hay and now going to play for Woorinen?

Completely false i've been told by a close source to Clifton. He has increased work commitments...writing about you toss bags is keeping him away from his beloved lions
