macorna
moula
murrabit, are a great side who should finish up there.
nully, are always good on there day and have some real matchwinners.
wandella, are always young and full of run.
ultima, have lost a few big names, but always work well as a team.
hay, big and strong, always tough at home.
wakool, full of new recruits, but may take time to gel.
quamby, also recruited well, but not as many big names.
macorna, seem to have a few out early, may struggle against top sides.
moula, rebuilding, but in need of more depth.
really anyone down to about wakool, could have a real crack at the flag if they play finals. finals is a completely different ball game. it is great to see a relatively even competition this year.
Wakool would be shattered with this selection Kouta, to not make finals after the biggest spend up this league may have ever seen?

Wakool vs Ultima this is the make or break game for the much talked about wakool (money bags) football club.If they lose to ultima this week they may as well stop paying anyone and save some money,Rhumour has it that shane harvey and his crew turn up on saturday mornings go through the motions for 2 hours,then have a shower,collect there cash and head off back to melbourne.This bunch of theives should be made to stay on saturday nights and help out with junior clubs,to collect there money and leave straight away proves that they have no interest or passion in the brown and gold and simply endure a 4hour trip up to collect some easy cash.
Pull your heads in you theives and start getting a kick and dominating especially you harvey.You should be getting 40+ touches a game averaging 5 or 6 goals a game and winning games off your own boot.
Otherwise if you dont and The wakool football club dont win this years flag,its the biggest waste of money in the history of country football.

Nice one Madpie. If this is true then it just goes to show the character of the blokes in question. Possibly a reason why Harvey is playing in the middle of nowhere and not in the AFL. Then again, you don't know what the arrangement is with the club, they might be happy he just pull the boots on. Having said that they still must have a conscience.

yesterday i watched an absolute seasaw battle between ultima and wakool. ultima broke away in the first quarter, with wakool fighting back in the second to be a couple down at half time. Ultima again surged in the third, before a huge fightback by wakool in the last saw wakool level and then kick truly to be a goal in front with only minutes left. Ultima the goaled to level, followed by a point to wakool, putting them back in the lead. a last ditch effort by ultima to push forward ended with a rushed snap just missing the goals/points and running out of bounds on the siren. it was fantastic to see how tight the league has come. it will be a real battle for every team to push for the finals, with each week being a big game. anyone else have any thoughts.

unfortunately for the ultima boys the points didn't go there way, ultima lost there ruckmen to injury early, which i think was telling late into the game as it left ultima unable to keep their ruckmen rotating to combat wakool's big fellas. another injury to an ultima defender, saw ultima a little undermanned going into the last, but still maintaining a healthy lead. wakool's coach, along with harvey and the likes stepped up a gear and got alot of the ball in the last quarter swinging the momentumt in what looked like a tough tiring game. all in all a very even battle.stampy said:

i was told they were a little late, but not quite that late. unsure as i didn't get there myself til quarter time. was a huge comeback. if wakool play four quarters as they did in the second half of the last quarter, they would be very hard to beat.kanga fan man said:

your on the money there stampy what a year it is going to be with all the lower sides from the last few years stepping up a level going to be a very interesting last half of the season with i reckon only one or two games seperating first position and eighth great for the LEAGUEstampy said:

definatly agree on the ruckman call there kouta... young broussard was given an absolute rucking lesson by the long haired ruckman...
