Firstly, Morto struggles to kick. Hein is a sniper. Hutchins has left the district, hasn't he?? Finally, Henry has to rely on upfield efforts to be effective. I know who I would back if Murray and any of these blokes were in a contest at the ball.
Hutchins is leaving but i am basing this on 2006 performances.
The first bloke i would pick in my team would be a matchwinner, a quality, for all his determination, Murray doesn't possess.
Hein may be a sniper but can be very damaging (on the scoreboard) on his day. Morton is very prolific and sets up scoring opportunities for his more polished team mates. And who would knock back a guy whom is likely to kick you close to 100 goals every year in Henry. Must be more value than a hard at it, accountable, negater?

He is alot more consistant than these guys. I know what you are saying, but I would rather know what you are going to get week in week out. Good points though, September.
Moving away from that... how are the Royal Blues looking thus far?

hein is definatetly a sniper who can't back it up with his ugly bald head. morton is, as u said ok until he has to kick and henry, while being big is no where near close to being up there with an arentz or a carroll

What's to say Henry isn't up there with those two?? He has proved himself kicking alot of goals. Weather you say he gets fed well or not, he still has to kick'em through. Are you saying you can kick as many as he has:confused:

So are you saying that he is up there with two of the best full forwards in country footy are you Grippo?

I think it is fair to say that he is not, not at the moment any way. A very good player but not at the level of the two mentioned and there aren't many that are

No I am not saying he's the best in country vic, but am giving credit where it is due. If you read back a little, some say it's because he is fed well. All i say is he still has to do something right doesn't he?

most full forwards need to be fed well, arentz gets fed a lot, haven't seen henry play but obviously he's doing something right, otherwise he wouldn't be kicking 100+ goals in a season.

If you saw him kick 24 goals 3 behinds in a game, majority from 50m + your opinion may change slightly. Would back him to do very well in CM

Don't think Lalbert have granted a clearance yet and from all reports they will fight tooth and nail to keep all 06 players and rightly so given their predicament, therefore Sait and Rooney may struggle to line up with the blues

Actually ben, you had three opponents that day, Chris Murray being the third, and you only kicked 2 or 3 of your 7 on him.

You did play well that day, but unfortunately you have been unable to reach those heights since.

How many years ago was that now?

Keith's famous top 30.

could one of you guys please let me know where i could view this list? this is an interesting concept, not done though in our league but sure to create some controversy and interesting debate you would think

Just click back a couple of pages and there is a link in a post that will take you straight there.

Have noticed that Dickson has not been cleared to Kerang yet. Any reasons for this?
Kerang seemed to clear Gillingham with no amount of fuss, you think Wandella might return the favour?

Kerang knocked back R Chamberlain.

Interesting to see the way Chocco has to go about getting a clearance to Wandella. I see he has now signed back at East Geelong, where footy has been put back a long way, but special drought match permits can be issued to play with clubs in other leagues. I'm guessing he is doing this because Kerang won't clear him??? Surely Kerang would let a bloke go and play with his brother who is coaching

Pretty sure East let him go last year on the proviso he would be cleared back in 2007. Think Kerang are keen for Wandella to deal with East because of this arrangement.

that's right. he was cleared to kerang last year on the terms that he would be cleared back to east geelong, so yeah, he has to do that first then try get a clearance to wandella.
