Absolutely great game, was right on the edge of my seat for the majority of the last quarter. Especially the last 5 minutes.
Who says that games are more exciting with the count down clock being shown, I think tonight shows why they shouldn't show it.
But anyways, well done to Collingwood on a great victory for them.

OMG!!! what a a great close game of footy can't belive Pies beat the Lions by 3 points,Pies are doing really well at the moment but will they be able to keep it up? looks like Collingwood will finaley make the 8 this year n Port v Pies next week should be a good game.

Bloody oath it was a great game. It was so close all the way through the match and i was sitting with the cheer squad and when we hit the front the hole stadium nearly collapsed it was that loud.In the last minutes it was heart renching, my heart was beating so fast but it was a great game by the collingwood boys.

what a fantastic game! even as an essendon supporter, i was screaming for the pies right throughout. the result was "good for football" as malthouse said. the pies didn't need this win to prove that they will make the finals. finals are a shoe in, have to push for top 4 finish now. well done to the pies. congratulations.

We not only equalled but we exceeded it. Who cares, the football experts and purists know our side was the greatest ever, captained by the greatest ever too.

Who cares though, Essendon like Collingwood's team are history. The Future is Black and White.

I'm not predicting premierships and still think we will finish around 4th to 8th this year. Hopefully a lid is put on the win and we do our business against the fake Magpie's next week (Port Adelaide havent even been recognized as the Magpies throughout their formative years!).

Even though Buckley was our best this game showed me that Chris Tarrant will be a superstar of AFL football.

And Marty, lose some weight Brudda.
