Trade him out for someone who is much cheaper but performing very well this week and make money on him...then trade back for shaw and enjoy the profit?

Or waste of 2 trades?

that is a waste..i got goose on the pine so all is good:thumbsu:i think he outscored shaw last week..

I got Hurn aswell though.. lol

Gonna have to start Nason and Maguire!

Rockliff is finally playing so I can put him on the field instead of Gumby so hopefully that works out!

Seriously, if you have someone on the bench that will play, you DO NOT use a trade.

It doesn't matter if they score 20. Using a trade for a player who will likely only miss 1 week is an absolute waste.

Yeah, true...wasn't really gonna do it.. just wanted to hear what some people thought.

Thanks

He went off for about 15 minutes or so during the 2nd qtr didn't he? I thought he done quite well to end up on mid-90's to be honest.

And yup, waste of trades.

According to Fanfooty that was a left groin problem though. And Pendles said today he expected Shaw to play:thumbsdown:

I agree it's a wasted trade for only 1 week but.

The scary bit is when injuries start cropping up (especialy as dubious as the back injury which effect hamstrings) they tend to linger around. Effecting not only future selection but fantasy scores.

:( Hopefully he can recover and return promptly

Unless he is out for a long time it would be a waste of trades.

Silvagni is only on the extended bench so he's vulnerable.

Thanks to Shaw I'm gonna have to start Maguire Kennelly Hunt and Waters. Hope it works out ok.

MaGuire - 100
Kennelly - 69
Hunt - 74
Waters - 94

Average of 84 between them last week, that's not too bad. Trading Shaw out wouldn't be right, especially when we don't know the extent/seriousness of the injury. Could be solely a one week thing.

Agree....I think they'll all go ok this week.

Just hoping Shaw's not a month with a back related hamstring.

lucky me i have water and silvagni on my bench.

Have gone for waters to replace shaw.

would be nice to know how long shaw is out for before the round begins tomorrow as if he is out for a month or so the time to trade him is now before a couple of good buys prices rise

Most of you shouldn't be too concerned as you have Waters/Maguire/Silvagni to come in for you. Don't trade him out.

God I feel like the biggest tool.

McMahon was dropped last week and I paniced having seen it about 5 minutes before lockout so I traded him for Heath, Goose scores 100 on the pine.

Heath is out this week and McMahon is back.

FML.

This would be relevant in the 'Worst trades of the season' thread.

No offence.

Although there was justifiable reasoning behind it...
