Adn why replace him with dead wood? a non performer, someone who doesnt play well against Brisbane...someone who doesnt play when the pressure is on.... PERIOD!

looked like Ruz tweaked a shoulder early. Egan was the disappointing one for me...but excused, the pressure form Brisbane was immense. Davis should know better after 6 yrs of AFL level footy.

Anybody will do. Play Buckley or Burns there. Persist with Rusling.

Get H and B Shaw into the side immediately and give the side some fresh blood.
 
I usually don't like to write off players future after one game but this is an exception.
Leon Davis is gone. He has shown he can't play in any sort of real pressure, doesn't put his head over the ball even when his oponent is coming in slowly and a mile away. Instead he puts his hands to the ball and taps it forward a bit. He got a fair bit of the ball but showed he can't do much with it. And he has no accountability.

I'll add him to my definite list with Williams, Lokan, B.Morrison.
With 4 definite outs and around 2 out of the maybe list (Lonie, Walker, Hall, C.Morrison, Woewodin) gone we should have at LEAST 6 spots on our list.

We need to promote Fanning (on a one year contract) just for depth wise as I don't think he has much of a future. We could take a huge risk and try and re-rookie him though. J.Cloke is a definate keeper in my view as we have poor depth in key defenders and his commitment to improving his game at VFL level has been pretty good.
 
i was looking forward to seeing Leon back in the black and white tonight, but his match disappointed me, and i agree with everyone else here pretty much, there is no real future there, we should try trade him and see if anyone else would have a crack with him next season

i dont know if it was his last game for the club though, i suspect he will get more chances

Four of those kicks were in a five minute window in the 3Q. 3 were hospital passes, the fourth a grubber.

Enough is enough. Get rid of the dead wood and start rebuilding.

How on Earth are you bringing race into this issue??

Leon's a hack. Propper hack. I still cannot see any pace whatsoever and believe that people who think he's fast are delusional. His intent is great, but his skills are genuinely SANFL level.

Egan had FA game time from the supercoach, probably to shield him from being responsible for a limp wristed performance.
