4 brownlows and 4 flags between them bet they lose sleep over the opinions of opposition idiotic fans

Yep Barry Hall being allowed to play in the 2005 Grand Final helps Goodesy get a flag

Gary elbows Picken in the head and will get another Brownlow this year

The only way they will ever fix up the MRP is if the best 25 players get at least one 125 pt charge against them each and none of them are eligible for the brownlow in one season. That way the AFL will be forced to fix up Anderson's **** up.

I'm quite happy to see him get off but dumbfounded how he actually did. The guys getting rubbed out for much less early in the season were pretty unlucky. MRP/tribunal afraid to go anywhere near a charge in regard to this type of incident since their Viney embarrassment.

Weren't the Swans able to argue that the ball was in play because of the AFL's own tribunal DVD issued at the start of that season?

Any club would have done the same.

Forget who it was, in general do you truly believe any player should have been reported for that?
The problem is, our players do go for this stuff. Selwood got cited for PUSHING his brother, ffs. And my team has to compete against Sydney, so I want Sydney players treated the same as Geelong players.otherwise what is the point of the game in the first place?

So we should be happy that we've lost players at critical times for the same stuff but an opposition player with a history of sniping got off? O... K.
I didn't say that at all.

Would be terrific to see all Buddys bumps lined up and compared with Goodesies bumps

Of course Bud has nothing to worry about the MRP anymore

I never thought Id see the day Geelong and Hawthorn fans unite as one, bitter enemies till the end until now..
Enter the Sydney Swans who belted both of them and made them both look like VFL teams and now they are clinging to each other for dear life like rats on floating debris from a sinking ship.. Go Bloods!

Lol f*** the swans and their BS COLA, bloody cheats.

Goodes should've went, but didn't, I can tell you if a geelong player did the exact same thing he would've got 2 weeks.

It's an absolute joke, I'm sick of it!!

Don't worry, they will be back at each others' throats soon enough......:D

Sydney didn't really make Hawthorn look like a VFL team, and that's pretty much what they were playing anyway.

I think most supporters, excluding those who are reaping the benefits, are united in their detest for the MRP and its inconsistency. I don't want to see players rubbed out for innocuous, accidental incidents, but if other players are going far far less, far weaker things, then those who commit acts that have seen other players suspended in the past, should go too.

Goodes has received favourable treatment here. It may be because he's indigenous and this happened during indigenous round, it may be because he's the AOTY, or it may be because he plays for Sydney, who the AFL tries to lend a hand to at every turn, but the reality is that it's a biased call and once again highlights the inconsistency of the MRP and the unfavourable treatment it deals some clubs and players with.

There should be a precise, clear set of standards that the MRP have to strictly adhere to when dealing with incidents and dealing out punishments.

If Cats and Hawks fans agree about something it's probably right.

Your analysis of "they hate us because we're awesome" is up their with George W Bush's "they hate freedom" for persuasiveness.
