Concerning if you think committee is meant to be private.Who’s been leaking committee discussions??
More concerned they weren’t paying attention to what the discussions were really about.Concerning if you think committee is meant to be private.
Huge if true. Big scandal about to drop.More concerned they weren’t paying attention to what the discussions were really about.
BREAKING:In seasons 39 (or whatever we up to) I will run to be the committee member to represent the Gumbies.
Did you question the process when you made the team? Genuine question.View attachment 2190428
When I was a young man I played a year playing rugby as the club pro in a pretty social amateur(ish) rugby club.
One of the club pro's jobs is to arrange the bus trip. The budget was enough for the bus and driver, but not booze. The most important part of a rugby bus trip is the booze.
As luck would have it, it was tradition to run a raffle to raise funds for the injured players fund. At this club, 13 weeks in a row, someone on the bus won the raffle, and donated the prize to buy booze for the bus.
I used to laugh at how other clubs were so disorganised they had no idea who was going to win their raffles.
Why do I mention this? Because that raffle was less of a rort than the SFA selection process.
Although there have been suggestions we should deal with the committee in the same way that Americans deal with healthcare CEOs, I do not condone this behaviour, but if others feel different, than so be it.
The system needs to be changed. In the words of Donald Trump, lets drain the swamp.
I think change needs to happen from within.
I am going to be that change.
In seasons 39 (or whatever we up to) I will run to be the committee member to represent the Gumbies.
Make the SFA great again!
This is funny if intentional, but even funnier if not!Did you question the process when you made the team? Genuine question.
I certainly questioned it the year I won the Mobbs and was not in the team, but the year that really made me question it was the year I was 2nd in the Mobbs, 4th in the Beez, 4th in DT and 7th in the rate the opposition table.Did you question the process when you made the team? Genuine question.
Quite right to question the process. The ALL-SFA team should not be selected by captains.I certainly questioned it the year I won the Mobbs and was not in the team, but the year that really made me question it was the year I was 2nd in the Mobbs, 4th in the Beez, 4th in DT and 7th in the rate the opposition table.
GWS Goose carries on like he is the only Mobbs Medallist to be snubbed by the All-SFA Selection Committee

Goose, I am sorry to break it to you but are simply not that great a poster. Instead of inundating the community with complaints, negativity and outrage, study the posting styles of Jazny in S21 and sportsmaniac89 in S25, All-SFA players who combined strong QOOTY seasons with entertaining posting content.
