thats a serious allegation if correct. I would think if true and correct 10 weeks would be on the lenient side of a sentence.
I have seen Perkovic play and dont think he will be missed within United teams anyway as only borderline senior player.

Are the wheels falling off United? Been very up and down this year. Still have a star studded side but can't seem to put it together.

His kicking may let him down on occasions just like most players who get the ball under pressure 30 plus times a game.As for not being a very good bloke,i would guess you don't know him very well

While I dont agree Rochy are pretenders (it was the media and footy community which talked them up as contenders not the players) they do still need to start beating some good teams to prove they can match it with Ky, Tat and Benalla

But yes, rochy have done nothing to suggest they can mount a case for winning the flag this year. U would assume they would start favourites against euroa, shep bears and Echuca. But they won't be taking euroa lightly neither is the Echuca game ever easy and with the other games against swans, tat and ky. it could end up being a huge arm wrestle to make finals.

As an outside observer, can can you fill me in as to who these players may be?
Well assuming everything goes to plan Daniel Anderson who won south bendigo B&F last year should make his return through the 2s. He did his ankle in the pracci match and I can tell u this guy is an absolute bull over the footy, will add some much needed grunt to the midfield. Chris sanders will also come back through the 2s, he required a full knee reco after rd 4 last year. And also Mitch bright and Leigh millard return from overseas. With dean moon set to return from a hand injury in the next couple of weeks will add some depth to the side.
Pretty sure premierships are still won at the end of the year. Its Not how your travelling mid season but how you go in finals. Ask Seymour from last year.
Tatura are still the one to beat if they dont get injuries between now and finals. Tat got done when multiple injured players out early season and so did Ky by Rochy although Rochy had as many out.
6 weeks is plenty of time to change peoples opinions going into finals.
It wasn't so much that Seymours form improved dramatically at the right time of year, more the case that they had a massive injection of quality players come into the team later in the year. I personally don't agree with a system that lets a side have a mediocre season (ie finishing 9 & 9), then storms into the grand final with a group of players that swanned into the team after a group of loyal local boys busted their guts out all year. But then, them's the rules.
See Peter Cardomone has just tweeted that there are major rumblings at one GVFL club with the assistants walking out..anyone have any info??
I heard today that a ex GVFL coach has all but signed on at a rival club for 2014 , maybe this has something to do with this ?
Interesting... my mail is that the club is a genuine premiership contender and that the assistants demanded his immediate removal wanting a former coach to take over

Would've thought the coach is going alright at 11-1. Maybe the assistants need to pull their head in as its not all about them!

If you go back and read the initial post it was a question where I asked for some clarification about what a journalist stated on tweeter. Now...thats not to hard to understand is it?
