A few months ago I posted that the defibrillator from the Rushworth Football/Netball/Cricket/Tennis Recreation Reserve had been stolen. On Saturday night the replacement was unveiled at the drawing of the raffle that funded it. No thanks to the scum that stole it but the local community and visitors were very generous in raising over $3000 in six weeks in the hope that it will never be needed. Well done to Rochester people for their initial response and having an AED on hand.
What clubs have been barred from training on their ovals?? And what have you's got in place as an alturnitive?

Very impressive, no wonder they are premiership favourites.
Any takers for Tatura over Benalla this week? The Bulldogs appear to be playing better football against the higher ranked sides and with a few ex premiership players returning to the fold look to have better depth than last season.

Benalla will beat tat by 25 to 35 points on the weekend. Think they have to much class all over the ground than any team in the comp, when the likes of jacka,Colbert cant even get a gig in the starting mids group they can afford to play those blokes off half back or wing and get miss matches and that hurts sides. a lot would have to go wrong for Benalla to lose the grand final this year in my opinion?

Have to agree with that! Nick Holman has been named for Carlton this week. Ky seem to be able to produce AFL players pretty consistently..Pettifer, Deledio, Holman over the past 10 years or so and no doubt Paulo would've have had an impact as well if he wanted too..rookied! Echuca have produced Connors, Wines Whyman and Walker in the same time and Chris Jones was rookied at St Kilda. The GV region certainly produces some good players.
The ladder is certainly interesting at present and trying to work out who will finish where.
Rochy and United this week is a big game based on ladder position at end of year and going by current form United, Rochy, Mooroopna and Euroa could all quite possibly finish on 9 wins and be separated by percentage. Mooroopna has the easiest run home as play 5 games against Echuca x 2, Shepp and Mansfield and Seymour and 3 teams above them. Could upset Rochy and United but not sure they can roll Swans.
Top 4 is also interesting in regards to double chance as Benalla 2 games clear would be hard to catch but Ky,Swans and Tat could all finish between 2-4.
With our questionable finals system only top 2 get a double chance so plenty to play for in ladder positions as get the wrong day and you could be straight out.

Don't forget that 3rd gets a cheap ride if they can beat 6th.
You're forgetting that 6th has beaten 3rd in the last two final series. And Marcopolo don't shoot your bolt too early, a lot can go wrong from now until that last game of the year. Try and keep a lid on it.

ohh well at least I got the 35 points right
Absolutely no doubt that Benalla are favourites at this stage and deserve to be so. But it is July and they have had an excellent run with injuries. I don't think the swans, Ky and Tat have given up on the season just yet.
Euroa v Rochy is huge this week, if Rochy lose they are going to find it very hard to make the 6. They have the swans, Tat and Ky plus Mooroopna in their run home. Im backing the cats to snare 6th with their draw.

Would think Wines is a star and Walker has played over 200 games! As stated Lyon went ok! Throw in Deledio and Sidebottom its not a bad 4/5 players
Wines and walker both pioneers, Lyon how far back are you going ringo, have a look at all the top 10 players from the bushies/gv and there's not too many out and out stars

Not sure if this has been put here but does anyone have the names of the senior boys in Victoria Country Game and the Under 18 boys in VC Side? thanks and when and were is it played?
Wines and Walker both Echuca, what has Pioneers got to do with it? Echuca, Rochy and Now Ky are in the Pioneers zone to help them out! If its a Pioneers v Bushies zone we are talking about Trent, then we could add B. Hall, Gehrig Kosi, Stevie J etc. Sticking to GV clubs and that are playing now, add, Jarrod Waite, David Mundy, Tom Rockliff, Sam Wright, Michael Barlow, we'll take Sidebottom as well! Retired ruckmen J Fraser and S King werent too bad, Adem Yze back further. Bendigo have some stars running around though Trent, I grant you that!
