Early doors but this weekend's round is HUGE!!

Benalla v Euroa
Shepp v Seymour
Rochy v Tatura
Echuca v Kyabram

If Echuca can stay within 5 goals of Kyabram they will be ahead of all contenders other than Tatura. Should be an interesting game.

Are you forgetting Euroa just going down to Ky by 7 points?

Benalla V Euroa - Cracking game here. Both sides with a few out due to major injury, hard to pick this one! Going Benalla at home!
Shepp V Seymour - Another ripper here. Both sides very similar I feel and will match up well across the ground. Both sides with some young guns and also some respectable veterans at the helm. I think Seymour may be lacking a little more top end talent with there best 3 mids out, hence giving bears the advantage. Bears at home
Rochy V Tat - Rochy for me.
Echuca V Ky - Echuca have been flying as of late, however Paulo has got his Ky boys where he wants them. Another Ky win.
Mooroopna V Mansfield - Mansfield gave Rochy a good crack last week, expect them to continue with a win here.
Swans V United - Expect this to be closer then first thought. Swannies to give them a run for there money. United to win.

Who is front runner for the medal at this stage??

Cole now out for the season, will be leading up until injury struck.
Buckley playing good footy up at Echuca, back to back?

There has to be a good chance that Buckley will win the medal. Playing well each week for Echuca, he has been their best player. They're going well the Bombers, but Sat will be a genuine test.

Yep JD is a chance. Riley at Mooroopna has been outstanding I understand they won't win many but if he could collect a couple of Best Ons and a string of 2s and its a year you only need 20 to 22 he will be some chance. Buckley as nominated Stratton at the Bears and they love ruckman so Ash Holland and Lowden may run up there too.

Got a feeling someone from Ky will win it this year, Lochie Smith the front runner, had a few bogs lately, Buckley runner up best two players in the league arguably.

Nathan Marrone.

Stroobants and Watson are traditional winners of votes at the club and neither will take many off him as Watson has hardly played and Stroobants relatively quiet.

Lowden better start getting a kick then doc! Do you think united would be disappointed with his output so far? On massive coin and for me he hasn't fired a shot yet

Yes Elvis, Lochie is just hitting his straps but in our current form Ky doesn't have a standout, an even spread. Last year our top vote getters received 11 votes and had about 5 get 10-11. We dominated the voting in our games receiving something like 94 of the possible 108 votes from the games.

Interesting question id say they would be more happier with Lowden than Spangher. Big part of their Coaching and played well in both wins kicking 5 against Mooroopna. Umpires follow the media an would be well aware of who he is when he plays well. Wouldn't be surprised if he has 8 to 10 votes atm.

Ruckmen don't have a great record in the Morrison.

In the past 20 years only four ruckmen have won it with Blake the last in 2012. Schottner before that in 2004. Orr in 1997 and Sutherland in 2002.

It is a mid-fielders medal.

Yes instead of the Morrison medal it should be called the "Midfield Medal"

Yes will get the 3 vs mooroopna and maybe another couple in the other win, but there's no way he's got 8-10 votes so far!

Watched united a couple of times and was disappointed in both Lowden and Spanger especially with them playing at the highest level also with all the hype surrounding these two at the start of the season In those games I've seen . Lowdons ruck work was
Ok but can't mark!! and Spanger looked lost and dissenterested Surely united would be disappointed with the output of both players so far both on massive dollars ????

Look Ive got no real motivation to defend Luke Lowden I tend to agree he has been disappointing on what his reputation looked as though it could bring. But he got rated BOG in both wins so lets say he got 6 votes from those he was in the best against Seymour when they lost by 19 points so there are some pissible votes there and he had the better of the tap work against Shepp in a 20 point loss in the Easter game and thats not taking into account the Umps putting him in as some other stage being attracted by profile. Happy to stick with my presiction for 8 to 10 votes at this stage. Will wait and see Morrison Night.

Geez Doc...you have been on the juice..pissible votes? And your presiction? Its always easier to get kicks when you have good players around you. Lowden would be trying to help out the young blokes and play as well! tough gig when they are short on experience. United will benefit from this season down the track.

No juice fingers just went surfing. True point about being easier in a good side. See what happens this week vs the Swans they might be able to tip it the Dees way which would have them well placed to dodge the Spoon.

So Ruckman have a 20% chance of winning the Morrison - that's 100% more chance than a CHF or CHB then.
