And Ultra and MD, since you'll be at the night game, both be a good chap and run a hot coffee down to number 4 on the boundary. It will be cold and maybe wet so this maybe just what I need to get me through

Are Shepp any chance at all against the champs do you think Ultra? I can't see them getting close.

I think Seymour will sort out the Saints comfortably and then Kyabram will face their greatest threat next week.

I am hoping an almost full strenth Rochy outfit (less Perry Oliver) will overcome the Pies at the bog hole in Benalla. Who knows with Euroa though, as they are a quality side if at full strength. A bit of a mystery how many are missing but Will Hayes will be a huge inclusion if he plays.

Haven't seen shep this year so can't comment on that one, don't think so though.
Rochy by a couple goals I think, Euroa will be to slow even though getting some speed back in Jacob Gleeson. Shocked they didn't pick Bamford or Cunningham, some much needed experience. Will would be massive, quietly I think the dogs will pick him up over the summer.

I was just saying tonight Supa that I wouldn't be surprised if some "higher levels" look at The Wizz. The draft is supposed to be a tad thin this year, so mature ages might be worth considering. He plays a lot like Jamie Elliot, but of course hasn't been tested at that level.

I actually left after Muells dobbed the first 3, I must have missed out!
I didn't miss out on a super goal Ben Clifton kicked in the 3rd quarter today tho, was ridiculously good.

He is a good player but will need to play VFL to be any chance. The draft is actually going to be very even this year and the depth is getting better by the week. Unfortunately the chances of getting drafted from country leagues is minimal at best.

Yes Cliffo was up and about today by all accounts. Love those hard nut wide hipped on ballers! High scoring game. Would have been a better spectacle than tonight's game I am guessing.
Looking forward to tomorrow's main bout at the home of roses.

I think if a team can do it, seymour can, as they have some stars to match. Just need to find a way to kick a 70+ score to beat them, as they showed can shut down their scoring a couple weeks back.

No Jordy Williams and they lost Luke Morris at the 10 minute mark of the 1st quarter and still win by 5 goals. Oh and on the wrong end of some shocking umpiring.

Shepp challenged at times.....they could well get poor decisions over the next few weeks too. Just feel the Lions have some momentum, doesn't mean they will win it but means its not a certain 80 point win in the GF for Ky.

I agree that Seymour are the biggest threat just don't think tonight's result showed that the gap has closed. By all reports Benalla should have been up by 4-5 goals at half time today. If they play like that against Ky they won't get let off the hook.
Don't think anyone is thinking Ky will win gf by 80 points. There are 4 very good sides left and footy is a funny game.

Probably the main contender but ky just to much debth of talent just no obvious weak links, cover burstin Pettifer Gemmill and Mueller bobs up and kicks seven, thought Shepp did pretty well by nullifying kys back lines influence particular smiths intercept marking, just erred by not being more defensive in the third quarter when ky had the wind, could have been a bit closer but ky just to good overall.

The wind was a definite factor at last nights game creating difficult playing conditions. Mueller was terrific and more attention will be given to him in the coming weeks. The final quarter was crucial in the scheme of the game as Shep had the wind advantage. Kys backline were great countering Sheps asssisted attacks- including numerous timely intercepting and pack marks by Smith who was influential at crucial moments.

Nice to see you on the forum. Not at the Euroa v Rochy game and many hours away. Has it bucketed down at Benalla after half time as trying to keep up with it on the internet ... and no-one appers to be scoring ...
