I seen something about the Club having a BBQ and chat with Members and about the future direction of the Club and presumed that they might have not have been locked in with the Murray League just yet.

Would be a great inclusion but I would presume that he would still have AFL ambitions.

Big losses for the Bears Morrison medallist Nik Rokahr and Luke Smith signing with the Geelong VFL side. Will be more difficult to break in there but the cats usually have a policy that sees all of their listed players play in the Geelong FL.

Good luck to those boys, keen to test themselves at a higher level! Should be fun to watch their progress as the season unfolds. A tick for the Bears and the GV that Geelong went after them. Obviously difficult to replace though but opportunities for others presents!

I was thinking Bears and Ky would start equal favourites (at this early stage) but with these 2 leaving and big Jake Reeves returning to The Hangar, Ky may have edged in front.

Fischer yes..not sure about Carrazzo or at what capacity he will be involved. The return of Kirkby could be the big one if he can get up and going despite being 32. I do believe that there is one more big name on the radar but very early days and would be unlikely.
