Echuca have 52 players on their books and I've been told that 13 live in Melbourne. Not sure if they are all Senior players? Shepparton have no reserves.

Who's AFL Vic boss? It's Brad Scott, the papers have been writing that brads doing such a great job, he's going to be promoted to AFL op manager, Brad Scott wouldn't have a clue about community footy and well said by ash Byrne

I don't think Echuca would be the Lone Ranger with this. Not sure the AFL are too concerned about no local games, just the increase in ratings.

If we actually get past this week of footy and continue for two weeks without Melbourne players what happens then? It sounds like Echuca and Kyabram have been hit hard by the lock down in Melbourne.
If we got to finals and Melbourne based players were still unable to participate I reckon we ought call it a day and have an asterisk 'No premier' rather than play where the top clubs cannot compete based upon totally unforseen and unfair circumstances. The spread of the virus itself and government response will no doubt decide this for us.

Just on Echuca youngster Brodie Kemp, did he do his knee last year? With no VFL footy being played why would you risk your first round pick this late in the year with no games behind him, staggering by the blues fitness staff

You would think the top end of eurora would be hit hard too.
but have at look at the Geelong and district league, which are continuing on even though one team in the finals Werribee central's can't play as their located in metro Melbourne,
good to see the Ballarat league not play, as most of the eastern part of the league is is also metro,
although Bendigo will play even though Gisborne is just on the edge of metro and Kyneton has too many metro players and have forfeited.
Will we see the clubs hardest hit change leagues next year, will be an interesting landscape throughout country Vic with some clubs going to be deciminated by lack of numbers and financially and AFL Vic providing leagues with nothing

Absolutely! His confidence doing the Pre Season & starting next year will be much greater having had a couple of games at the top level under his belt.

Lancy offered 5 players but VT got back and said they found a few more. Think they are giving a few thirds a go! Hard work for many clubs but at least it better than last year!

Good to see will Hamilton back playing today after breaking his leg in round 1. Annoying we don’t get to see how him and Austin are used while both playing.
equally as pleasing to see Matty Kellet making his return through the reserves after breaking his femur last year. Hands down rochy’s best small defender, has been sorely missed this year.
