His elbow is buggered, 5 surgeries in the last couple of years hasn't done a great deal.

Sad to hear Lion. Tough when players in their prime are cut down by injury. I recall Rochy full back and GV rep Nathan Roulston fracturing a bone in his neck early 2000's. Was in his pomp. Luckily he could walk and live a normal life but never played again. You don't easily replace players like Jason Cole.

Rochy go down by much? May or may not be an indicator but Mooroopna beat Sandhurst by 5 goals the week before. Heard Tat Won by 1 point yesterday.
as previously posted rochy had a huge amount out but depth will be a worry during the year. Previously thought it was okay but will be an issue.
also mooroopna and sandhurst was a seniors/reserves match so hard to read too much into that

I think 4-5 goals but I wasn't there. Plenty of young blokes playing by the look of photos on Facebook. I didn't recognise most of them.

Had 8 certain starters out apparently.
Some ran water so can’t be too serious I gather.
Still a couple of big bodies away from a real good team from watching their first trail.
Mind you I reckon Logan Austin could tear a few games apart, particularly if he plays the ole Guy CAMPBELL role across half back
Praccy match form is so hard to get a read on. Nevertheless it’s important that teams get a good competitive hit out and not get blown off the park. Apart from that not getting injuries, building fitness and connection are a priority. Bring in round 1!!!
Practice matches... the necessary evil! You just hope there are no season ending injuries before the season starts!

Hoping to get back for the Rochy v Kyabram game on Easter Saturday.
Speaking of Logan Austin ... would be interested to see a Logan Austin v Lochie Smith match up! Is Stroobants likely to throw the big man to CHF a la Guy Campbell? Dare I say Lochie might have his hands full.

How many games would you want to play Ringo before the real stuff? 2 games, with a full squad 2 weeks before round 1, with a rest, or no rest leading into the season?
If you thought you were a chance of playing finals in the tv would you play one against a similar or lesser side and one against a ky type style to give your team something to compare to

Go 2 full on dress rehearsals mate. None of the 6 1/4 tripe. Plenty of match practice or simulation at training should have you right to go. Play two sides that are about your level and have some pressure in the game mate....just my take
I think the Tigers are flying under thre radar Tongue! reckon they might be a real handful this year.

As mentioned earlier ringo, the loss of Mccewen, Wren, Gledhill and even Free detracts from their significant gains.
Wouldn't mind seeing a Rochy midfield of Nath Marrone, Chris Jansen, Joe Atley, Jordan and Lachie Harper at some point during the year.
They are definitely a top 4 outfit mate. Have some class. No doubt depth could be an issue but their best 22 or so will be very good.
Not sure about that. If they are fully loaded VFL talent included they will be red hot but without them and a couple of injuries to their regular top enders they would be gettable for almost all in the Comp. Will be an interesting side to watch but I'm tipping some ebb and flow results for the Tiges.
