Echuca have a powerful junior setup people move to echuca compared to a shep, better lifestyle, the gv and bendigo could join a form a two tiered comp, if the lose gisborne, if you have the finals based teams from this year play in div 1 and non finals in div 2 with relegation promotion it might breath life into both comps

Echuca’s last two successful periods early 2000’s and 2020’s have been on the back of connection with local clubs in the region . In the 2000 era they did it at senior level , in this 2020 patch they have done it at senior as well as within their junior club . The junior president moving into the senior role is likely to see this period prolonged .

They just get it right don't they. Always solid competitive juniors which seems to translate into successful seniors sprinkled with the odd recruit....can't help but admire how they go about it.

I just think the way Andy Walker has gone about his business is something else. Club was basically on its knees… Perhaps could honour him in some way one day. Maybe the ‘Walker Pavilion’ or the ‘Andy Walker’ trophy….

Watched Yarrawonga get to work today against Wodonga. The Pigeons would comfortably beat Echuca. Wodonga looked a good side taking it up to Yarra in the first half. But Yarra way too good. O&M miles ahead.

Cucinotta has come from Port Melbourne. By all accounts not happy with his treatment and has gone back to take his VFL craft to the GV. Be intrigued to see how much of a leadership role he can fill

No actually was an Echuca mainstay back in the day. We won heaps of flags. Was a Bendigo pioneer as well but eventually hanged up the boots due to a poor coaching experience at the club. Wish I was at united. Culture seems fantastic
