Not sure I took the piss ... but you didn't get much uptake on the idea. It's not my forum mate. Read Aucklander's post about how this forum is one of the best on BigFooty. So I totally dismiss your idea about it being unwelcoming. We have loads of regular visitors from various threads who contribute.

It's Aucklander's forum. He is is the Mod and he won't let it go to the shite when clowns come in here. You can either be part of the general conversation or not.

Ps. Who are the boys in this so called boys club?
 
I notice young Warburton is in the bushies. I assume son of Brett who in turn was son of Peter , whose father was Keith all well known footballers .
With Vandermeer at Bulldogs , Rachelle at Adelaide and Ash at GWS . I thought it might be an interesting discussion of famous fathers and sons who played within the GVL .
 
Am also hearing that MRP will be stacked this week. Hearing names such as Hunt (dominating VFL), Bella and Drummond will all be playing along with the regulars that we have seen over the past few years.

Are you okay silver tongue? I simply cannot do anything right. I am trying to raise points of discussion and continuously get shot down by you.

I am looking to bring a humerous side to the forum. How about you email Caroline Wilson and ask why she refers to herself as Caro’s arrow. It’s not that deep. Relax or perhaps admin should get a ‘report’ about your behaviour!

You’d imagine Thermos is referring to the regulars vs. the ring ins… only takes observing the thread for short time to work out who the regular contributors are. Either way, it’s fair bump, play on - what makes the thread special is the balance between productive conversation / debate with a bit of banter.

This is a common issue over many boards.

Clearly there's a lot of people who post here who know each other well and I certainly found that out in my early days being involved with the GVFL thread at a time where there was some issues. Eventually, over a bit of time, that settled down and the "not wanting to mod here" LoL soon changed and the way I go about it too.

On a positive note, I now engage in conversation with 3-4 people on a regular basis due to that involvement and look forward to meeting one of them later in the year.

Keep it respectful, don't troll posters you may know outside of the forum and all will be sweet.

Not sure if he can be claimed as having much to do with GVL but Jakob Ryan ( Collingwood ) is the son ex Tat star full forward Steve . Whilst his Mum is a cousin to ex Shepp Junior and Geelong player Steven King .
 
I see Kyabram and future Nathalia player Kayne Pettifers perfect boxing record came to an end last night with ex Carlton and Brisbane Mitch Robinson beating him convincingly??

Big difference in fitness you would imagine. Mitch freshly put of the AFL and in great condition, P-train still in good knick but must be 41-42 now? Robbo nailed him with a few solid knocks.

Agree Blues. P train now 41 and robbo looking like he could still play. Not sure if he is having a kick but I’m sure a few clubs would have enquired about his services!
