Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

seymour to win by 12 points and the lowest crowd ever to attend for years (all of rochy population 2k includes sheep and cattle)
Do you want a tissue, Balraj? No-one wants to hear your stupid remarks. The Rochester Football Club's players and supporters have a little thing called loyalty, something you certainly don't have! Take the $6,000 you won on the Morrison Medal and bugger off, cheat.

Paul Serra coach this year has been re-signed, they have just signed on Tim Little again after he went back to Sunbury for a year, if they got Kirbs back as well they would have as good as ruck combination going around in Country Vic.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Pfft... yes, but times have changed my friend. They slug you for everything these days.

The weekender has cost about $2 during the home and away season for as long as i can remember, so i guess the GV are just following the lead of the AFL in jacking it up for the finals

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Lets get some predictions for Sunday.
Seniors: Should be an awesome game. Looking forward to seeing some great match ups all over the ground. Maybe the team whose backline wins out will come out on top. If the 2nd semi 2 weeks ago is anything to go by, should be a ripper. Would love to see Rochester win, but think the experience at this time of the year and the week off will see Seymour win by a couple of kicks.
Reserves: Another fascinating game. Saw Echuca first hand about a month ago when they tore us apart in the second half and then again 2 weeks ago and they seem a very well drilled unit, especially for a reserves side. Seymour were too quick and experienced for Mooroopna last week and a lot depends on whether Ellis gets a senior call up, as he is a great reserves player. Echuca's forward line looks very potent and capitalise from the opportunities they get. Will be too strong for Seymour. Echuca by 30 points.
Thirds: Echuca got rolled by Ky 2 weeks ago, but were awesome last week. They have high quality players on every line and very well coached by Henderson. Ky, on the other hand, have taken the points 2 times this year, so will be filled with confidence, but Williams, Wilkinson, Joyner, Herrick, Zanella and Walton and co. will prevail. Echuca by 26 points.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

Your asking about a lot of players on different threads bambino. You looking at doing some recruiting for your club?

Nah, there just some of my favourite former AFL players. I send collectable cards around to a few clubs trying to get signatures of players.

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)

The Lancefield Football/Netball Club is a close knit family club affiliated in the Riddell District Football League. Having just missed out on finals in 2008 we are looking to take the next step in 2009, and are well set up both on and off the field to do so.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for season 2009 in the following positions:

* Senior Coach
* Reserves Coach
* Under 18's Coach

Anybody with interest PM me for more details, or email the club at info@lancefieldfc.org.au
