The issue is often when the manager returns from long service leave and the power dynamic has shifted. Don't think it'll be an issue for us though as Hine has already experienced a stripping of powers and McRae doesn't give the impression of being motivated by power.

Sounds like he is superfluous to our needs. Anyone with half a brain could make an offer or sign a contract. Providing we are not paying for it, he can embark on a never ending tour of Europe and the club won't skip a beat. He and those dear to him can ride off into the sunset as far as I am concerned.

The only advantage jmac may have is that he's irrelevant now....so when he retires he cant lose his relevance. I experienced the loss of my irrelevance when I stopped working and the effect was minimal. High achievers like the wipey would have a real problem
