  • 'Revenge' is defined as the action of hurting or harming someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.
  • 'Mini' is defined as denoting a miniature version of something.
  • 'Literal' is defined as taking words in their usual or most basic sense without metaphor or exaggeration (emphasis added).
So, how do you get a literal definition of mini revenge being a revenge that's not done deliberately?

The simplest answer, you just made it up, literally. Just like you concocted a theory about Graham Wright white-anting a club he played 201 games for, won a premiership with and later resuscitated in the wake of a long-serving coach and President departing their roles.
Perhaps Graham was practising working for the bloos

A lot of rubbish sprinkled through this post. Our midfield will be fine with the likes of the Daicos brothers, Degoey, Perryman, Ed Allan and Mcguane as our future and in the short term we still have Crisp and Mitchell to turn to if required.

Calling the recruitment of Schultz a bad decision is also ridiculous. He had a solid first year and will only get better.
Reading the article in the roar, the recruitment of someone like shoota was a position of need. Same with Houston. The article even provided something other journos could benefit from, the use of appropriate data to support their reasoning

I think this is a really bad move by GW - the politics between the Mathiesons and Pratt has been a major tight rope that no Carlton CEO has managed to survive/tolerate.
GW should have been a little more patient and avoided this Viper pit.

If you go to Carlton you take what you get

So....Wrighty's been there what a couple of days now and already the Baggers have used his Hawthorn contacts to get a plum deal done....whilst his knowledge of the Pies inner workings are yet to be revealed. Between him and Brian Cook the Baggers have the rest of the comp's admin's well and truly covered.

I still have love for Wrighty, still a premiership player and all.... Sad he left and not a fan of him going to the bloody Blues but I can't hate him too much. I've tried.

It is well known the relationship between GW and the Collingwood brass deteriorated towards the end and he knew for a while that he was never coming back. I hate to be that person, do you think he intentionally stuff up the Schultz negotiations knowing full well that he isn't going to be around to feel or care about the consequences of that decision.

Why? To get back at Kelly?

Seems childish & highly unlikely.

If he was that unprofessional & petty, good riddance.

No. I don't think that would be the likely scenario.

More talking about the recklessness with which he traded assets for a player who was a year away from free agency . We had the leverage, as we could always structure his contract in such a way that it doesn't trigger band 1 compo. It just doesn't make sense.I personally think he checked out mentally, and was not as ruthless as he could have/should have been.

It is a stupid suggestion.

I think you could only come to the above conclusion if you feel that the Schultz trade was some type of catastrophic event which it wasn’t.

You are a better person than I am.

I respect one's right to pursue the best opportunities but Wright is going to Carlton.

He is now, in my esteem, a Hawaiian pizza. With extra fkng pineapple.

What does a champion Collingwood player or coach do once he has run out of ways to help the Pies at the club?

McGuane
Scotland
Thomas
Malthouse

Wright.

Get paid by Carlton to white ant their cesspool.

Onya Wrighty.
Keep the tradition going.

He’s a mercenary who deceived us
And will use all of our IP to help our biggest and most hated rival get to 17 before us

No love here

The guy has intricate knowledge of the workings of Collingwood during the 22/23 successful era
CEO like Wright will be completely hands on with footy department also and I think it’s naive to think otherwise
Sure, but a lot of that success is due to the excellence of other critical people. Until Carlton hires similarly excellent people, I am not worried

The biggest impediment to Carlton achieving on-field success in my opinion is their faith in Voss.

Melbourne and their faith in Goodwin is a similar story. Both teams play a stoppage-heavy, contested style of game which relies on their forwards being able to generate scores.

They're both consistent teams who have had relative success due to the quality on their respective lists. It feels to me that both teams would be more effective if they employed a coach who was willing to come in and release the handbrake a little.
