There was maybe one post by each player mentioning it and it was more trying to explain the lack of a doc protect more than anything. The fact you went to such pains to highlight that was a decent overreaction. I honestly wouldn’t have thought about it again if you hadn’t try to frame that some of us were HELL BENT on our CRUSADE to find this vamp.
If I recall correctly, I called you all idiots and it kind of snowballed from there into a truly hilarious bout of pointless vampire paranoia.

Crusade was the word I used for you wanting to find Pie's killer. Nothing to do with vampires. I was looking for regular old evil. I settled on Wick after I realized you were just being a twat.

Yeah I only vote #4 day 1, I imagine it would be slightly taking the piss if I was able to do a standard vote for the first 2 days every game without any scrutiny.

Wick was a vibe vote and I’m unsure about manicpie’s experience but he’s not asking any basic questions if he is a newbie.

Seems we've spent a lot of today debating about vampires & dopplegangers - is that a ploy by some to distract from the intentions of evil, or down to lack of information this game?

I’d say largely the latter, but given we’ve lost a lot of good roles early, evil are going to be able to dictate more than usual.

What we as village should do, is line up a surefire lynch. I think it forces evil to try and save their target or find an alternate option (if we’re right)

I agree that Zerg is at least putting in effort and not trying to be lynched. Maybe we do try lynch someone trying to slide by, like majestic or MCBG. I think we’d find info in some of the lurkers (and if we do happen to hit village it’s one less spot for evil to hide at worst)

He does this every game (to his credit).

Search function tells me Manicpie has played one werewolf game previously (Brooklyn Nine Nine), and checking the dead PM there he was the Alpha.

So he's not a total newbie.

I'm surprised Wick hasn't drawn a little more attention, but he did vanish after voting for me 6 hours ago.

Did you …. make him disappear?

I've put my vote on IMS as a low posting slider. Dogs self voted as the other one.

True, but it’s still a valid question on him.

Wick did do the most nothing post and then disappear.

The most striking play from the game so far is that wolves decided to go for MBR. Which implies someone active and influential in their PM.

The reward for actually putting in the work at werewolf is constant suspicion and often an early death, so maybe I'm the idiot? :D

In werewolf or generally?

I'm assuming it's the wolves with the amulet based purely off that kill. A faction without the amulet couldn't have been confident of getting that done.

Alternatively MBR was obviously the vig and they might not have known what a low percentage play that kill was, so it could be the opposite. Sometimes lucky play comes across as genius.

She did call for a doc protect so someone would have to work out there was no doc.

I'm the second gamer going to ask a stupid question here - on the second paragraph, is that idea take a known easy kill, over a speculative potential miss?

Me going AWOL had to do with having my support worker 10 to 4 on Mondays. Partner and I cooked up a Christmas meal to thank her for everything she's done with us over the last year. She's brilliant and been a major reason why I haven't gone completely off the deep end this year.

I then needed a nap afterwards.

I don't understand the attention bit. I've tried to be helpful to the village. Tried to look at why Raz could have been good yesterday. Went deep diving to call out BS that he posted about being tagged in this thread.

I have no information. It hasn't been a lack of effort.

I agree with thewizardmelon . This is "whack a villager" until something hits.

As the sole outed good role the expectation is that they would get a protection, so taking that shot would usually mean a failed kill. Evil just want players dead, so taking a shot that should miss is 'bad' play. In this case, it was great play (for evil) because they hit the vig.

If wolves started with the amulet they may have taken the chance.

I've got questions over Manicpie and does feel that there's either intimidation involved or potential coaching from they may be in a faction with to lay low while others are making noise & drawing attention on themselves

They also didn't do much to dispell that suggestion earlier today

I was more referring to not posting as a good way to drop off the radar (it's why so many players don't post much). This time of year it's extra difficult to pick if that's a tactic or just someone being busy. I'm glad you're doing ok.

Still think you're evil in this game though ;) Chasing vampires is a really low percentage play.
