Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland UK. Bowling from the clock tower end?

Note the small car parked on the cow boundary.....just asking for a smashed window..

Imagine playing there....cucumber sandwiches and a cheeky Pimms for afternoon tea old chap?

just magnificent.

Headingley doesn't always carry bad Ashes memories for Australia. Don Bradman congratulating Arthur Morris as the latter reached his century en route to Australia chasing down 404 in 345 minutes on the final day to win by 7 wickets with 13 minutes to spare. Bradman finished 182 not out, Morris out or 170.

Been posted before I'm sure but there's no bigger stuff you to the coaching manual than this. Maybe Paul Adams bowling action

The Poms, especially Gooch, were long time white helmet users, but I only remember Yallop, with his motorcycle style one, and maybe Terry Alderman wearing a white one in a test match for Australia.

Crowds flocked to test cricket before Bazball was a thing. Some 47 years before Brendon McCullum was born to be exact.

I would have loved to have heard the songs that the 1930s version of the Barmy Army sang about Bradman and some of the other Aussies back then.
