He did drop off a bit after a tremendous start but I wonder how much of that had to do with his famous battle with a curious allergy to grass (not the usual Jamaican kind) that he dealt with for quite a while. He recovered pretty well and had some decent output in some of the World Series games he played and a lot of good judges said that for pure talent he was as good as anyone going around after Sobers retired

Even though streakers can be annoying, I like the way this guy has the presence of mind to cover his wobbly bits while he is being tackled (no pun intended) by Rod Marsh. I wonder whether the other England batter out there was Peter Willey (pun intended).
